I very strongly now believe that this is an aquatrax rollercoaster. as soon as i get a few more support pics, I will post them with stuff circled which i strongly believe to be water related stuff.

I was just looking at the pictures of the conston of the new coaster at cedar point on the point buzz site and saw some of the track I think that it is going to be a looping coaster or the water coaster but form looking at the pictures of the track it looks like it has some barro roles and really heavy banked tunes I guss we will just have to wait to see what cedar point is doing for next year I hope that it is a looping coaster or the water coaster that whould be relly cool to see. The reason I think that it is going to be a looping coaster is becuse the way the track looks it looks like it will have loops or barr rolls or it could be the water coaster or a hyper coaster by looking at the banked tunes pices I think that it could be a water coaster or a looping coaster but that is just what I think. I think that it whould be cool if cedar point gets a water coaster I think that it will be a water coaster I am saying this becuse I saw the track on the water coaster at sea world when I was in Orlando head to disneyworld form the hotel that I was staying in with my partnst the track on the water coaster at sea world looked like that track at cedar point so it could be a water coaster with a relly big drop or alot of banked tunes or a lunch at the start of the water coaster but we will have to wait until cedar point makes the anemet does anyone know when that will be?

of course i could be horribly wrong... the only thing that keeps me from being almost 100% sure on this is that theres a track peice that bankc very much... from 0 to like 145... not inclined or anything, just flat... idk what the hell is up with that...

hmm....maybe you're right, but i hope not. I'd really like to see a launched intamin looper instead of an aquatrax, but whatever, we'll just have to wait and see...

well, whatever it is, its launched... whats stopping an aquatrax from looping? I mean, theres several coasters that invert with only lapbars... it would be 'Going in a whole new direction'... combining 2 types of coaster...

Theres only one thing stopping me from confirming this... there needs to be some very tall 2 spine track peices...
i.e.:
._.

.-.

lmao, i suck at text art...
those track peices would fit into the large thingywaterthing...

I still havent found anything to explain those wierd supports... the V ones... I've looked at almost all of Intamin's past coasters, and 5 websites/700ish pics of this ride... nothing. its really wierd. Their not shaped right to be for a dual track, and too far apart/not facing the right way to only support 1 track... IDK! my brain(o rly?) hurts!!

I relly don'nt know what the stuff is that is attted to the track I think that it could be a water coaster but the banked tun looks relly banked if it is a water coaster I whould want to ride it looks like it whould be fun to ride. I think that it could be a water coaster with something that was never done on a water coaster before like a big drop or a really heavily banked tunes on it. It could be a launched coaster or a looping coaster or the water coaster but I not to sure what it is earer if it is a water coaster it whould be relly fun to ride. I think that the things on the supports look like something that whould spay water out of them but it does look relly wared I don'nt know what the stuff is in the picture of the track with the big red thing staing there but you are right those are water pipes I can tell by looking at them they look like water piees or some wered type of supports.

It wouldn't have anything new for an aquatrax (besides the possible inversion)
look at the other aquatrax...

Those pipes are just covering some of the bolts. They could be used for surveying or just purely to identify something.

Maybe it'll just support two banked turns. Tight space and money saving design that way.

That or they'll be part of some sort of compound support.

It looks like that piece has a radius though. I guess it wouldn't matter though, the fins being vertical. Same concept as Voyages MCBR.

Lims would not get bolted to that. Were are the holes for the coolent tubes or fans. LIM and premade pices or track with the LIM already attached. They dont come in sections and also LIMs do not curve done like that..

I've got a theory on that piece that goes along with what I've always thought the ride to be... Its to place proxy sensors on it. The idea is to have enough proxies to determine how fast a train is going and then calculate the amount of force needed to apply. AKA The train is already on the course this is just the middle of the ride, where there is an extra lim launch.

Could it possibly be for mag brakes? Kingda Ka has brakes on a radius.

Maybe but I don't think so. It would look like KK's track if that were the case.
