I have seen this type of thread at other sites and it can be very useful. I am not new here but i am new to posting here and i feel like a stranger on the forums so i created this thread so that i can introduce myself and then any other new people can as well.
Well I'm alton_ and i live in Cheshire, England near to Alton Towers which is my home park.
The main parks i have visited are:
- Alton Towers
- Blackpool Pleasure Beach
- SFMM
- SFGadv
- Thorpe Park
- Disneyland (cali)
- USH
The simulators i own are No Limits and RCT2. But i only really design in No Limits now as i find its much more realistic. At the moment i am doing a project with Jakizle called Naive which can be found here:

I hope to post some of my work soon as well.
-Favourite Steel Coaster
Out of everything i have ridden at those parks my favourite steel coaster is Nemesis closely followed by Kingda Ka.
I like Nemesis for its vallies and the rides sheer intensity and clever compact design and its great wherever you ride it. If you ride it at the front you get an awesome view whereas at the back extreme vertical Gs.
-Favourite Woodie
This would have to be El Toro. I think this is an addition this year that has been underrated by many and it has been somewhat flattened down by the arrival of the Voyage. I haven't ridden the Voyage and yes it may be better but for me it has to be El Toro. The anticipation at the top of the lift is incredible and the extreme ejector air is terrific and the twister section is great fun.
-Favourite No Limits Design
Aiolos by Dcs221 is my favourite No Limits coaster because i love B&M Inverts and this is one of the best designs I have seen and i can understand why it did so well in Round 3.
Well thats just about it from me. I hope other new people can use this thread to introduce themselves too.
