That's also 3/8/06 for you not USA people.

Can't be arsed to write an entire trip report, so I'll just give so little tid-bits.

Well, I got there around 10:45 with my dad, lined up for some tickets and got into the park around 11:00. By first look, I thought the park was going to be insanly crowded. It was, but all the lines for the coasters, (excluding Kong) were no more than 5 minutes.

Time for ride reviews and general thoughts about them.

Medusa : B&M Floorless : 10+ rides : 9/10

Today was a day of firsts for me. Yes, this was my first floorless coaster, and I loved it! I've read that this ride was forceless, but I didn't let that get to my head. Was it the most intense ride ever? No. Was it really really really fun? YES! My first ride I went toward the middle (4th row), because the front and back lineds looked pretty looked pretty long. It was a really cool ride! First drop was quite nice, as was the rest of the ride. No air other than the first drop, but I got that cool floaty feeling in a lot of places.

I got rides on every seat on the train, and the front was by far the best. On the bottom of the loop into the cobra roll my foot tapped the little bumper in the front of the train, and I thought I hit the track! A unintended, but great effect! Got front seat ride on second to last train, yay.

Roar : GCI Woodie : 3 rides : 7.5/10

I was expecting a little bit more of this coaster.

First off, I thought it was pretty rough. I may be spoiled on Kennywood's coasters, but I didn't think the constant jackhammering at the bottom of the drops was supposed to be there. First ride was second row from back (last ride was also there). Got some nice air and lats on the first drop, but there wasn't much of either from that point on. Nice layout and all, just thought it could've used some lats on all those turns. Next time I got on second to front seat. More airtime, still rough, less lats, but still fun.

V2: Vertical Velocity : Intamin Impulse : 2 rides : 8/10

A nice little ride. the best layout of an Impulse by far. Good launch, etc...

Kong : Vekoma SLC : 1 ride : 5/10

My first ever SLC, and I wasn't looking foreward to this one. People say that they're rough, but I never thought it would turn out to be that rough. Constant headbanging, train spazams, overall very very rough. It was also the longest line of the day, due to only 1 train running.

Has a nice layout with lots of headchoppers and good intensity, but it was just waayyyy too rough to merit any kind of above average rating.

Boomerang : Vekoma Boomerang : 1 ride : 6/10

An OK little ride. A little rough in the cobra and on the brakes, but nothing too bad. Just a tad too short for my tastes.

Cobra : Zierer Tivoli : 1 ride : 5.25/10

Better than the SLC :) .

Overall it was a nice day, a little on the hot side though. Not a single cloud in the sky.

We left at closing, which was 8:00PM, with a nice view of the park.

+ It was very clean, with good amount of shade. Nice variety of coasters, good kids area, good atmosphere.

- The operations weren't stellar, only fair, and the food was wayyyyyy overpriced. Needing a drop tower of some kind.

Fun day, nice park.

SFMW seems like a pretty nice park. Nice to see your visit went well.
