How can i make support's joints as seen on Intamin's support columns, Vekoma's SLC etc...?

For example; i want to make support beams on the SLC which i'm currently working on to become regtangular box with it's joints connected to the tubular columns, but I could never seem to find the way.

Help please?..

Sorry but it cant be done. One way you might have seen it done by someone is with 3ds or 3d scenery objects. These are a tad to advanced for you right now so I would just manage without anything for a little while.

Does that mean those people built each one of their hundred supports in 3d? wow..

Do you know any 3d modeling programs that interact with NL's track file?

anything that exports .3ds....i wouldnt suggest this though unless you have A) previous modeling experience, plus B) lots of free time.

thanks ^

Before I'm starting to use 3d objects I think first,i need to know how to use track packager properly though(still suck at it). I'm quite familier with FormZ 3d modeling program cuz I'm studying architecture and have to use it alot.

Does anybody use FormZ?

it easy to use the track packager, what you need to do is unzip the file, open the track packager and you go to File and then open package. there you go that is how you use the track packager..

^or u can just not unzip it, double click the packaged file and it'll open up and install the package automatically.

He wants to know how to make them.... Open the trackpackager, go under file, hit new, and select the track you want. The packager does the rest.
