So 100 what, you may ask? 100th "credit?" Nope. 100th ride on a ride in the park? Nope. But when I woke up this morning knowing that half of the schools in San Antonio were starting, I knew I had to take advantage. As I get ready I remembered talking to Matt about how many inversions he went through on a trip to Thrope Park. So I came up with the idea of trying to do 100 inversion on my trip today. I told him my plan, and he jus though I would get sick :p. Yet I went to the park and demolished my goal, going upside down 150 times. I have tot hank the crowds and the awesome ride ops for allowing me to do this, as I only had 6 hours in the park today. As I upload the pics that I took, I'll leave a little riddle to get you guys interested, First person to answer save Dcs, Ck, and Matt will get 500 points for the heck of it. So, I will tell you that I rode Boomerang once, and I rode another ride with inversions 9 more times then the other ride with inversions. So how many rides did I have on SKC, and how many on Poltergeist?

15 on each? :)
Wowzers for 150, most I've done was uhmm...about twenty at SFMM on a crowded day in 4-5 hours.

Photo Portion:

Image
The entire city of San Antonio came out to the park today.

Image
In other news, the boardwalk has been boarded up.

Image
A gerstlauer spinner will be sitting here come 2007.

Image
Heres a look at most of Poltergeist.

Image
Same caption as last photo.

Image
Rattler is back there somwhere.

Image
Scream is just so pretty.

Image
A guy with "Super" in his name also lives here.

Image
He has nice curves if you ask me.

Image
The line today was 5+ hours!

Image
He goes upside down six times, with three of them being shown here.

Image
Another look at those three.

Image
This is where people start to go Wee!

Image
Incase you haven't noticed, the ride does interact with a 100 foot quarry wall.

Image
A loopdie loop without anything in the way.

Image
Stupid big fat supports got in the way.

Image
Polty was a people eater today.

Image
This train ride scurrs me.

Image
Wait for the arrow ride that does have complete heartlining in some places! Go arrow!

Image
This ride will colapse some day.

Image
The turn between brake runs has more banking than anywhere else on the ride.

Image
This track is about to slam against the station and hurt me.

Image
The Road Runner flies over the sleeping A train.

Image
Incase you didn't know, Rattler changed names and was equipped with a water splash to make it more family friendly.

Image
Just kidding.

Image
The front row was walk on. I feel bad for the people in the back.

Image
A last look.

Image
The Texas weather hates SFFT.

Image
See?

Image
About that ride with "Super" in it's name...I found it.

Image
I wish.

Image
Same angle from my video.

Image
I only posted this because I noticed something behind the trees.

Image
More vertical goodness.

Image
Those three inversions for the third time.

Image
Here's the loop, through the trees, through the brake run, and through the train.

Image
Little do I know I'm about to get screwed.

Thanks for looking, and some text is to follow.

Guitarplayer got it...and yup, I'm still dizzy.

18 * 6 = 108
9 * 4 = 36
1 * 6 = 6

108 + 36 + 6 = 150

Enjoy the photos guys.

News articles, and the fact that SF purchased two Gerstlauer Spinners...I say one for SFFT and one for SFSTL and even Screamscape agrees with me.

SeaWorld SA is also getting something big, prolly another Mack Journey To Atlantis.

yea I did research, there were also rumours of a spinner goin to SFoT. Now no offense, but SFoT hasnt gotten a roller coaster since Titan. They need a new flare, and a spinner would go great with the park theme if it was called "Texas Twister". But its an uphill dream for me

maybe in '08 ::sigh::...[V]

Its been since 2000 for SFFT, and the park deserves it...they have gotten a Golden Ticket for 7 straight years.

Supposedly Shapiro really likes the park too and a spinner would fit great back in the boardwalk area where most of the kiddle/family rides are located.

I still have yet to go there. I want to ride that man of the super!

Yeah, speaking of drought, we got in trouble for leaving our sprinklers on too long.[B)]

Loved the photo's. And the sarcasm you used was funny[lol]. Good work.
Ive pushed 150 anyway. I went to Busch Gardens Tampa on a freakishly cold day in early January, not a soul in the park.

Sheikra-14 times, 14x1=14
Kumba-7 times, 7x7=49
Montu-6 times, 7x6=42
Python once, 1x2=2
Scorpion-3 times, 3x1=3

Not quite 150 but 110 is anough imo. Great trying to get to sleep at night isnt it[lol].
Good stuff mate.

I wouldn't expect shapiro to put a roller coaster at that park any time soon.

Why mot? If we would give any park a coaster IMO it would be SFFT...

He said himself that SFFT is getting a large family attraction...plus a construction wall is up...just wait and see.
