Dead Season

Dead season is an up and coming band that everyone should be aware of. They have one the battle of the bands for new england 2 years in a row. i hope you all get a chance to hear them!!!

Lead singer sounds like a cross from the guy from Shinedown and James Hetfield on 'The Thunder Rolls In'. They kinda remind me of Disturbed I guess, not too bad

Hm.. Now that I've heard more from this band, I dunno. The scream crap is sometimes, and I mean sometimes, ok in moderation. The Thunder Rolls cover was too much, but I was able to live with one song, but the rest is just... yea, too much. As for "talent," drop-D is for lazy bastards. The only drop-D band I really like is Tool, and they're iffy, to say the least.

Kind of off topic, considering these guys are trash metal, but King still plays much much better. And not only is it impressive to watch, but it's very nice to listen to as well. Don't believe me? See for yourself.

I had a phase of liking this type of music. Then I got over it pretty fast. Lasted... about 6 months. And I think I'm much better now.

wait.. i checked again because i didn't realize they covered garth brooks HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!.. how come... "it was sooo generic it almost sounded as bad as christian rock" wasn't one of the choices.. ? still.. alot of people spend alot of money on stuff like that, untill they're told to like something else.... still they do a good job of "sounding like everything else" perfect for mtv..

I dunno I think they have a little talent, but they don't know how to use it at all

Why am I the only one that voted meh they're alright? The Thunder Rolls is the only one that I'd actually even consider getting. The rest was pretty crap-ish. If they vary their stuff a bit more, and go a bit more for the The Thunder Rolls and some of The Addiction sound, without making it sound all vomity, then they could be pretty good.

If dead season signs... they will be under universal records. how many sucky bands are under that label? (dont answer that lol)

and they dont play drop D. most people think that by listening to it, its a common mistake, but not a problem.

and everyone has their own preferences... i can respect that...
