Well the other day I started a mini Intamin Hyper, standing a cool 110 feet. But then as we know Maverick was announced today, so I said why not go for a sweet combination using Maverick as a basis. So heres what I got so far on the hyper section:

Go to the thumbnails to see all 12 pictures.

Anyways, hopefully I'll be able to complete the hyper section by tomorrow, and then I have some really cool ideas for the launch. I hope you like it!

Edit: First half complete, with 3500 feet of track off of a 100 foot tall drop...pretty crunk if you ask me :p. Hopefully tomorrow I can work out my killer launch idea.

I agree, it could be just a bit too similar to Maverick, just with the elements in a different order. Maybe have some different inversions, like some sort of looping element in there.

I plan on doing so later! And the only thing I see similar to Mav is the noninverting cork/inverting cork combo. I don't think theres anything wrong with using a lift and a launch, plus my launch is going to be somewhat unique.

Go with it man, that's cool if it's a spin off of the ride, just don't re-create it [:)]

Trackwork is now completed, with the riding coming in at 6375 feet! It includes 5 inversions and 8 moments of airtime.

Two layout 'profile' pics coming soon.

And here they are:

Ok, by now most of you guys know that I'm currently working on 3 projects, which are Asterion (this), Marauder, and Silvanus. Here I will be posting a nice lil' Asterion update. But first, I just want to let you know that Marauder will be posted as soon as the car texture is finished, and Silvanus is still in the supporting stage, and it will be a while before it get sposted because of the time it takes to do all the extras.

So, in the meantime I decided to work on some supports!

Nice headchopper from the Stengel supports coming out of the launch tunnel:
