Intamin aren't allowed to build any coasters in America anymore, since their recent inversion designs are considered "terroristic activities" by the US authorities.

So they had to create an innocent offspring. [:p]

i think i have found my new favorite coaster. this is one of the best examples of a coaster that prooves you don't have to be a record breaker to be absolutely amazing. obviously we can't judge now... but from the videos adn readings, it looks awesome. can't wait to ride it!!

I have never been on an Intamin with shoulder restraints. How comfortable are they? There's a lot of high speed direction changes on Maverick and it could be painful

You won't hit your head on this coaster. The track shaping is super advanced.

The "drippin'" was actually referring to teh fanboiz droolage!

The new record set by Maverick is in fact:
"highest ammount of saliva in any pond crossing"

Ever! [:p]

Wow, this looks seriously great. Better than anything I would've imagined from the new CP coaster - best-looking Intamin of all IMO. Great layout, and some transitions look insanely fast in the simulation(that heartline roll!![shocked]) Also, it does have kind of a record, heh. Steepest drop on a non-gerstlauer (non-cool and fresh [xx(] ) coaster, right?

I can't believe people were saying it was going to breach 500 feet. And now the drop is only 100 feet. However, it is more than vertical. Which I believe is enough to cover for the lack of height. As for expectations for CP, i think this fills them [:)]

any idiot who thought that they would go for another hight braker is simply that, an idiot. They already built TTD, and according to Dick Kenzle, its one of the worst park investments they have ever made. SO on top of the fact that there is no technology for it, nor the space or anything else, it just wasn't going to happen.

^ who wouldn't?[lol]
Anyways. The Folks on TPR have discovered that Maverick is, in fact, very similar to an Intamin Aquatrax. Very interesting, imo.

^ actually, the aquatrax doesn't have a splash. If you watch the POV, you'll see what I mean.
