What happend to hydra and talon?

How many times must I tell you that I have to work on multiple projects at once?

All you have to do is look on the NLDC to see whats up with either. Talons track is done, needs supports and 3d surroundings and Hydra came with NL1.6 but needs alot of reworking.

hehe, i was only joking, because your projects never seem to get finished

Dont ask to test...I dont hand out test versions except to just a few close people I know and can trust for the feedback I know I need. Youll see enough of the ride once I get past the trackwork.

Once thats done, themeing IMO would be the easiest.

Garrett, yes that was way out of line and very immature when nothing bad was said.

Anyway, looks like a good start Real. I can't really give any good critisism right now as I've only seen three pictures of the durn ride, so I'll just keep my mouth shut and say "Wow, purdy."

And for those of you who haven't noticed, I've been out for quite some time. I think I'm finally back with a computer this is actually workable now. It's been a lot of work cleaning this thing up, but I'm glad I'm finally back in action.

Ive got pretty much from the drop to the horseshoe finalized. Ill try to get some pics tonight. The horseshoe SUCKS to model. The whole "lets enter like a cork and exit like a zero g and then do that in reverse." Yea, its not being friendly ATM.

These two are for you Jakizle:

Make sure your drop starts to curve right when the pullout starts, or maybe just barely before that. It has that weird initial curve to the right, then the hard turn that you can see in your pictures. It's not noticeable unless in a view infront of the drop, or onride as the train crests, so I'm not sure if you've included that or not.

Ummm, He's not crazy. Why does EVERYONE think that Hydra was so spectacular? It really was obviously far from perfect. There were many flaws I'm sure real knows about...

It seems accurate enough to fufill what it is trying to do, seriously it gives a very accurate representation of the ride, I don't think anyone would ever kill because of a few feet off in overall track length for example. Some people are fanatics about it and some aren't I guess, just depends on who you are.

Either way Hydra is/was great, as I'm sure this project will be.

McVeens productions are normally VERY off. Hes not very good at shaping his rides.

McVeen now imports the actual coaster design files from CAD, so they're no longer mediocre in shaping. Pretty sure banking hasn't been perfected, as seen some of the banking transitions on his El Toro, but apart from that they should all be exactly the same as their real life counterparts.

CAD stands for Computer Aided Design, it's a program people use to design things. Coaster designers use similar programs. McVeen basically imports the tracks from these programs instead of building the rides himself like he used to, which is why you can see a huge difference between his new and old stuff.

Makes me once again wonder how Ole gets his "customers" tracks from the "blueprints" the the NL demo on screen.

I noticed some shaping issues within Maverick from the video that already dont transfer to the real pictures. I also wouldnt think that CAD is the best form for those calculations. Sure its a very, very good draft but I dont think its as accurate.
