I see us beating the Seahawks next week.

If you can't get their record right, I'm not too worried when you predict their outcome in a future game. Grossman won't last, and the loss of Alexander means nothing since the bears have an amazing run defense but a susceptible pass defense that Hasselbeck, who likely has the best vision of any NFL QB, will tear apart. Expect another 3+ td game from Hasselbeck, 100+ receiving yards for Jackson and maybe Branch, and a final score somewhere around 31-13 Seahawks.

Meh. Hasselbeck had an off game, the bears D played great, Grossman had another solid start, and the Seahawks secondary finally proved the sports analyst right. Seattle will recover with a bye week and a not too hard schedule thereafter. And, lets be honest, the Seahawks could play every game of the season from here on as poorly as they did this week and they'd still make the playoffs with how weak their division is. (So much for Arizona having a breakout year behind the edge) And I still am 100% sure Grossman will have a collapse....likely within the next 2 weeks IMO, though I doubt the Bears will be losing anytime soon. It'll be interesting to see how they fare against the NY duo and NE though.

Boo! Go Cubs! Oh wait...you said playoffs [dunno].

Ugh, Vikes should beat Buffalo...now those NE and Seattle games are really going to mean something.

Word to that. Shame it doesn't look like I'll be going to any of their games though, I'll just have to hope a friend manages to get tickets somehow and takes me.

The Bears just seemed to play very well last night and I agree, Seattle was totally flat. But ... WHAT was the deal with the Titan's Haynesworth? Oh my!! Truly, he ought to removed for the balance of the season. That was beyond "uncalled for" and should be dealt with in the harshest possible manner (to include assault charges), regardless of what he offers to the team. Cheers to Mike Fisher's stance and class by approaching Bill Parcels, now let's see if he actually follows through.
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.
