^i thought i saw some pictures of people handling the coaster with a chainsaw, so i guess the decision is already made

thats not true. it may have been taken to by a chain saw but the track and trains must be saved and will be as it still is protected by a the demolition act of 1973. it states in brief that the track and cars are a protected heretage of the united kingdom and can be taken down and stored but not be desposed of and must be re-built at another site in the future. so the petition should be for another park to buy it and rebuild it. the supports are not covered so they can be built under and throught. but i shall travel up there this sunday to take a look and report back with what i can find.

The 3rd turn has totaly gone, but protestors have prevented any more work being carried out.

Im all for save'n coasters. But really.. Its not like Cyclone wa a good ride anyways. Give it a few weeks and you'll all forget about it.
I rode it 4-5 times.. And it just wasnt a good ride... But I DO hope someone saves the mouse next door.
