Does anyone know of an update or plans for an update for iTunes7 on Windows that fixes the sound problems?

Don't know honestly, I've yet to upgrade past 6.3 something. For whatever reasons they wont support Windows x64, but older versions do.

it's suppost to fix all the problems like sound cracking and the cover flow jamming up because of a low cached artwork amount
and a couple other things i dont remember now

My only started doing that with 7.0. Wondering if its a driver thing but I know I updated my sound stuff.

I upgraded to 7.0.1 yesterday, and it seems to be OK, at least I can listen to my mp3s now, which I couldn't using 7.0.

^thats an even stranger problem than what most people were experiencing before.

7.0.1 seems to have fixed most of the sound problems that occurred in 7.0, so I mean it works for me at least. I can do whatever with music playing including the Sim (which the sound got really bad before) and so now I'm happy [:)]

and I really wish I had a dual core cpu, cause 7.0 seems to be optimized for em. It's not terribly slow, but you can tell that they expect you to be able to do certain tasks simultaneously without any kind of lagging, and that you can only really get with dual core cpu's (except AMD's)
