Are you riding the scenery or the coaster? Seriously, people who can't properly shape and create tracks shouldn't be allowed to even use objects in their coasters.

I don't know about you, but I do this for fun, and if people want to use objects and think that is the fun part of this, then let them do that. Although of course trackwork is the most important thing, I still think it should be up to everyone how much time they want to spend, and if they want object or not [;)]

Sorry kevinluttje. I just had to answer to that. The ride looks cool. Just because there are some other people building a maverick recreation doesn't mean you can't do it. The most important thing is that you have fun making it!

Dont worry kevin, this type of banter is normal. All of my threads get hijacked at least once for about a page.

Hey, it brings more views to your topic and thus more exposure. :D

^Hooray exposure! [^]

wait...Real...thread...hahaha, I love plays on words[dorkhat]

Anyways, this looks like it will be a prety good recreation. Make sure the twisted horseshoe corkscrews are slim enough, because from the first pic it looks like theyre just regular corkscrews. Which would be inaccurate because the real ones are like zero-g rolls with an actual lateral shift. Atleast thats how I see it

I look forward to seeing more!

Yea, actually the horseshoes are easy to define. The first one enters like a cork, exits like a zero g. Then the second is the complete reverse. But you also have to remember to make the second one smaller in size.

I found in mine keeping it laid out to the layout I have isnt working too well. The physics seem to take off just enough speed to slow it down. I may have to make that entire area a touch smaller. But just enough to keep the speed where it needs to be.

Speaking of which...I gotta post in my thread.
