don't get me started , young 'un.. i grew up in orange county in the 1980"s
hardcore? hmmm.. i'm sure times have changed. but when i hear the term "hardcore" i still think of "1945" era social distortion, circle jerks, adolescents, very early redd kross, decendents, channel 3, 7 seconds, D.I., pre rollins black flag, and hell, even with rollins, agent orange's first record, the germs, british bands like gbh( possibly even epitomizing hardcore)FEAR, and though they created a scene of their own suicidal tendencies even falls into this catergory, hell i could keep going i suppose... i remember the original hardcore punk scene veery well, as orange county was a huge part of it in the early 80's. .
whatever it is you've posted here is something completely different.. more like "techno" , reminded me alot of the huge rave scene of the late 80's and early 90's before it got super commercial.

Right...this music wouldnt even be good if you were high out of your mind, something the dutch love right? I guess it's just different peoples taste but this music to me is utter trash. It's not bearable in the least bit, at least some RnB songs can have a catchy lick or something in it, but this ....nothing

[lol] what a pile of ShizE!

Hardcore, seriously, oh my god, wtf is that all about?!?! On adverts on tv for stuff like "Hardcore Anthems 2006" and stuff, it plays different songs in the background and they all sound EXACTLY the same. It can be said of any genre that the sound of most bands/groups/artists in that genre, are similar in some way, but Hardcore is just 100% all the same. What a pile of dog turd.

PLUS! absolutely 0%, none wahtsoever, zip, totally NO talent needed in the slightest, to make a Hardcore song, oh god, I could go on!

the only place for hardcore is golbel gathering stoke. it sounds awsome in a massive tent at full volume with a bouncing floor but thats the british hardcore. that dutch stuff didn't even have a great backbeat. the 3rd one you posted MOH started sounding great but was ruind half way through. ill stick with the british trance and dance.

BTW hyyyper would understand cuz hes dutch and thankyou jayman for the hippie music.

the only "hardcore" band i like is The Locust. but that's because i love the sound of the synth and it's just so off beat.

that.. and.. i guess if you want to call Wolf Eyes hardcore i guess them, too.

blahhhhgh.. the term "hardcore" music wise has been tossed around and misused so much.. i was just trying to think of a recent American Hardcore band and that's what came to mind.

Jayman is absolutley right. Most of you don't even know what hardcore is all about. Someone said it takes no talent. I think that's bs. What takes no talent is to be a pop artist. Have some write all the music for you. All they have to do is sing and that's it. You find a real good HC band and they have a real message. Not that crap nowadays in the mainstream. Real hardcore is about family. And the kid who started this "master of hardcore", if you know what hardcore is and you live in the netherlands then I expect you've heard of the band 'second chance'. They're an awesome band from the netherlands. I actually talk to one of the guys in the band and he's a real nice guy. Sorry but most of you know nothing about it.

The locusts aren't a hardcore band. They're usually classified as "grind" or "grindcore".

There are too many friggin' denominations of music these days. Having 30 types of metal and 40 types of emo is bad enough man. 3,000 types of techno is seriously pushing it. I have two categories. Good, and crap. The songs Jayman posted, though horridly repetitive, are pretty good. This "hardcore" crap, is crap. It has no catchy or soothing beat, it has no real meaning, it's just jumble. I like my fair share of techno, but this isn't included.
