DivX 6 - DivX 5 Conversion??

is there any way this is possible?? or possilby a way to convert... any format to XviD?

I have no clue but my guess is no because if you look at the both of them (5&6) they are completely different codecs.(If that is what you are asking)?

ACTUALLY.... I think I've found a way. umm, what I really wanna do is just to be able to is to take DivX 6 vids and convert em so they can play on my zen, which, unfortunately is only capable of 4 and 5. the thing came with conversion software, but every time I try to convert one, it fails, and I think thats cause I still have the software installed (and you know how DivX is when it comes to tampering with their files)

Try searching for some freeware that does that. I remember finding a program that does this for PSPs, Ipods, and Zens. Also where is JPEcool he knows a lot about this?

I think JPE and I would be about equal in this kinda situation
