Hello all! I have a RAZR V3c cell phone, and a program called Mobile Phone Management Tool (MPMT)-Handset Manager Software from Mobile Action. The program is able to upload music, pics and videos onto the device from a PC, and vice versa. Apparently you can create your custom ringtones with audio files, but I am having trouble finding a way to do it. I have a file that I clipped to be about 29 seconds, and it won't let me appily it as my ringtone, so if you could help, please tell me how! If you need more information, I'll figure it out. Thank you so much!

Sunny.

Check what filetype it is. Maybe it should be somthing like an mp4.

ah hum, not mp4 mate, mp3. mp4's are video files and do not work as ring tones unless it has video ring tone capability. check wht file type the other tones are or look it up in the manual.

The files I have are .mp3, and some of the other tones that came with the phone are .mp3 as well. Could it be because of the company? Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate it!

it could be that the tunes you are trying to transfer are identity copy righted and as soon as they are transfer anywhere they corrupt. also they could be a diffrent party file, such as if you have a 3rd party dvd player you can only play dvds from england. same type of thing here. other wise i dont know but i hope it helps.

If you have the same one I have, which I think you do, its pretty much automatic. Use the help file. Ive got tons of my own ringtones, backgrounds and such using it.
