Here is a trip report of my trip to Cedar Point on October 22nd, 2006.

Real, I've never doubted you and I never will. "Sundays are usually empty..." Oh and boy was he right...

1st ride- Drove in, walked in, got in line for Raptor immediatly. Waited aproxx 4-6 minutes. Sat in very back car, rightmost seat. I've always loved this ride, and this was and still is one of the best additions to the park. This is my 2nd fav, next to Millennium Force of course (Raptor: 9.8 out of 10; MF: 9.95 out of 10)(I've never been on an absolute perfect coaster, thats why MF is 9.95). The best
part of it I think is the Zero g roll, especially in the back, and the end double helix. The helix g's are so powerful. Frankly, they could have made the very end better with a better transfer from the helix to the breaks (ouch).

2nd ride- maXair. I didn't like this ride last year, but this year it was the best ride other than a coaster I've been on. Lots of airtime and was a longer session due to the 0 to 1 minute wait. Lots of fun and got a lucky car because it really was a ton of airtime.

3rd ride- Iron Dragon. This to me is a ride I need to hit every time I go. It had been my favorite years ago, and it is still a great ride. The mist was not fun though, due to the very very cold tempratures and really high winds.

4th ride- Millennium Force. Here we go. Up 310 down 300. What an icredible rush. The wind at the peak of the hill was blistering; only adding to the effect of 'falling off' the car. Boy are those cars ever open. That drop is still the most mind-boggling experience I have ever felt in my life. The negative g's, the speed, the angle; all factors that contribute to it being the best coaster drop on the planet. The tunnels pulled massive g's, so much in fact that the second tunnel where the picture is, my picture was of me with my headband over my eyes instead of my ears and head. That little hill next to the station is a small but great effect. Lots of air there. The ending overbank is a ton of fun, getting slow enough to pull some laterals toward the ground and seriously scaring lots of people to thinking they are going to fall out. (yet again). What a life-changing experience.

We did a few things between riding this time. We ate ot Johnny Rockets. Very good food there while waiting for the rain to pass. We left there and wanted to hit Raptor again, soon to find out it was close due to weather conditions. I'm like "Okey, the rain stopped an hour ago." So I thought oh well, lets move on. We went to watch Dragster go for a while since our food was still settling a bit. This is always a fun thing to do. Especially if you sit on the brick planters right by the launch; that way you can see the teenage girl's horrified faces and laugh your ass off when they launch and all you hear is that one girl's whincing scream split through the air. Unfortunately we didn't hit this one that day, but oh well.

5th ride- Skyhawk. Was very fun, but I still don't understand why they added two swings in two consecutive years. This was a short and fun experience, but IMO, maXair is better. It is just staring to rain.

6th ride- Millennium Force. Again we go, since it was a walk on. Don't see that very often; it was a treasured moment.

7th ride- Disaster Transport. This has always been a very enjoyable ride from the very beginning. This time it was waayyy darker for some reason, but the ride is very fun. It was a good time to ride it since the rain was still going.

8th ride- Space Spiral. I enjoy this informational ride. I needed to sit down for a while, and it was quite a sight to see Cedar Point in the rain. The rain had accually stopped as we were near the top of the tower. It was nice to see the park; and Raptor sitting there lifeless as Dragster and Millennium are flying through their track. I was getting angry about this Raptor business.

9th ride- maXair. Again. Very fun. Ride it.

10th ride- maXair. Weeeeeee.

It had been all bubbling inside of me, and I had to find out. I went to the park operation center and asked why every single ride but Raptor had been running in this crazy wind. The answer: The windwas heading south, off the bay from Raptor to, say, Wicked Twister direction. They said that the train would be stopped and or reversed at and before the mid-course break run, which is after the cobra roll to helix. I didn't totally understand, but I accepted it. Never again did it open that day. Good thing I rode it early, or my mom and I would have ben really pissed. Moving on.

11th ride- Oh what was it; ah yes: Corkscrew. Rough, boring, Arrow. Explained. The only good part was sitting in the back and getting whipped over the top of the lift; with a loose shoulder harness too.

12th ride- Mantis. I hadn't been on this in a few years, and I said "What the hay, I might like it the sencond time, as I did the maXair." WRONG. Never again will I touch that worthless piece of shiz again. Please, I advise you to STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

13th ride- Millennium Force. After being battered and torn by Mantis, I wanted a fun ride. Eh, Millennium Force'll do. Can't help my self. But on the contrary, it was cold and windy now.

I got a bit of candy for the ride home and a red "$5" poker chip (It was only 50 cents to buy it). It was very cold, and it was 6:00, and I wanted to leave. I knew it closed at 8:00, but I didn't care. Byebye Cedar Point. See ya next year.

Thanks for reading! And take my challenge: Read the entire report [lol]

wow sounds like u had a lot of fun... u really like maXair lol

too bad it was raining, you would have had a much better time. (well actually the only reason rain is bad is 2 reasons: sky gets dark, and rides get closed[:(])

Glad my advice panned out. Sounds like the weather helped, but its been that way all year. Hence why CF has had a hard time meeting goals. Been very rainy up here in the Northern Ohio area.
