HEY! It's 12:03 here, and I just got home from seeing Saw 3, and holy shyt! I am one of the most desensitized people I know, and this movie grossed me out! THAT NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE! The gore is WAY over the top for the average movie go-er. You must have a strong stomach to watch this as the gore is way over the top. I recommend that you watch the first two movies before watching this one, as it reverts back often, so unless you have seen them, you'll be lost. Also, I don't recommend seeing this movie alone...in fact, the more people, the better. You know how a scary movie is less scary when you watch it with other people than just by yourself? It kinda works with the gore aspect to. Other than that, enjoy the show! Saw 3 is a must see for any horror fan! <I'll post more later, as I am extremly tired, and want to go to bed>

Sunny.

Horror movie? Made within the past decade? HA!! No ture horror movie has been made for a while, todays so called 'horror' movies only startle you and disgust you, they dont scare you. Ever see The Shining or The Exorcist? Though Saw 2 was interesting to watch, I wasnt scared, not at all, but watching some of the old school scary movies that are actually scary, thats where the fun is.

We went to see it as well .... by far, the best one of the three! Good mind game as well -- again, by far the best of all three. And oh, let's try not to ruin the whole plot for those that may want to see it still. (Cough, I am talking to those freaking n00bs who would post and give it all away.)

I will have to check this out; I haven't seen the first two yet so maybe I'll rent those and see what it's all about first.

The Shining or The Exorcist

BOTH extremely funny with NO scare factor to people my age at all nowadays. Seriously, me and my friends watched Exorcist when we were 12, and we laughed because its just so lame now. Of course in its time it would have been frightening, but it takes alot more to scare people nowadays, so horror films have just tended to go for gore, aswell as scare, to get people in that way instead.

The most lame horror film still has to be the grudge though! Whats with that shize?

Oh, Saw 3 does look pretty cool. I havent seen the first 2 though, maybe i should rent them too! [:)]

meh I think there are some good modern horror films out there,I was properly scared by The Descent and The Hills Have Eyes remake. And 28 Days Later, great films.

You should probably rent the movie "High Tension" that will scare you, and keep you on the edge of you seat. It has gore, but its quite intesne. It is a french horror film, mostly dubbed in english. But with so little dialoge, it doesn't matter. It was directed by the same director that directed "The Hills Have Eyes" Remake (Wich is going to be accompanied by a sequal sometime next year).

And if you really want to be bothered by troubling thoughts, rent the movie, "Audition".

^ !!! i love that movie! and by love, i mean.. yeah. well.. it's awkward to say love to that

as for Dragon Fly:

you obviously need to look into more horror movies before you can say something like that. there's a lot of good ones, and I hate to break it to you, but there is this thing called mainstream and they're not into the whole horror genre.

saw 3 was awesome! I loved the storyline, I thought it was the most creative one. #2 Is still my favorite, but this one is my second fav. I love gore, so it was so cool to me! And the traps, were genius, and the story line was too. So I just loved it all around. Some of the acting, kinda pissed me off, but for the most part it was really good. Also, The teaser trailer for hostel 2, was cool. I hope it's not like the first one, where it was a freakin porno for the first hour.

Unfortunately, the director has promised even more sex then the first film. Personally I don't see why. If people want to watch porn they can stay at home and click some buttons with thier mouse and keyboard to do that. People are there to see a movie, not sex.

Exactly right cb ... it is just annoying to be sitting through that in a theater. Not that I am a stranger to the "ways of love", but I paid to see a killing, now get on with it. [lol]
