All @aol.com and all @aim.com address are being prohibited from registrating. It wont happen, we wont let it. They wont let us deliver mail to our aol clinets and thus we wont deliver to them. They seem to be doing this to lots of people so rather than to dig through a bunch of returned mail on a daily basis, they are now block. This accounts for the large amount of people not registering lately, I mean 800+ accounts not activated within the last month? That explained it all [:)] So yeah,m aol and aim are blocked lists along with other sites which offer spam only.

why is that? so that they can't start a ton of "ghost accounts"for advertising.. i had to get special permission from one site or other because i had a free hotmail account.

if you made it in before then fine, but new members or members wishing to change their address to aol or aim cannot do so, a block has been mad eon my part, but if you someone sends you mail through the forum, odds is you wont be able to get it
