Here is the B&M floorless that ive been working on for a while. Just thought I would start the topic back up for it. Supprting it has turned out to be a bitch, but im through the hard part so it wont be such a hassle from now on.

Comments always appreciated :)

-also, if someone could maybe thrown down a quick rate for The Great Decay ( http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_excha ... ?tid=11234 ) for me because all the old ratings were lost and its hard to see it being a 0. Thanks-

Symbiotic, your track looks great, and isn't support making for everything a bitch? [lol] I like what you're doing with it. If you need a tester anywhere in the process, I'm always available ( gerstlcrazy@hotmail.com )

I'd love to check out your track and give you back a nice long reply [:D]

Wouldn't it be great if everyone's coaster could be re-rated? I'd love some rates for Hype Remastered, Firecat Trot, and oh, my new woodie, The Minnesota Rendezvous.

^same here

only thing I'd suggest tho, if at all possible, make the station/brake run area less spread out. not a huge detail, but it's nice to have it a little smaller than you have it now.

looks awesome! can't wait!

[:)] Thanks for the positive feedback. I know what you mean about the brake run issue, but im pretty set for this being the final layout and I really thought that the ride needed to end at that point, and not try to squeeze something else in. Now that i've got some time on my hands, ill probably aim to finish the supports by the end of this week, but laziness might kick in again, so who knows [:)]

VERY nice!!! I love how compact it is for such a large coaster!! Only thing... is that break segment the MCBR?? It's a little late in the ride - lol... more like a Kind-of-toward-the-end-CBR - lol. Can't wait to see how it does on the exchange!!

Wow, everything with this looks absolutely great. This is one of the most original floorlesses I've seen since Hydra. Very nice work. You can be sure that you'll get a rate from me when you upload this sexy beast. Lookin' forward to it man.

Does anyone know if there is an updated version to make floorless car textures for 1.6? I just made what i thought was a pretty sweet texture but turned out pretty jacked up.

Only problem I can see is a fairly typical one - unbalanced. The first half looks to be far too long considering how short the second half is, or vice versa.

Ive always tried to make the first half about 5/8th the track and the second half 3/8th of the total. You just dont want a really short second half because itll give the illusion the the overall ride is really short.

Just something to think about for the future. I think on this track in particular an extra helix right at the end after that last roll maybe with a air hill or something would balance it out and add some more punch to the last leg.

Ya id say its about 6/8ths to 2/8ths. I thought i would add more after the mcbr but in the end i really thought i was dragging it out too long. I wanted the ride to come to a stop and to have people be like "what just happened to me?"

You can still achieve that if you are very clever with how you do it. I mean you don't want a boring forceless ending. But if you pace it correctly even if the train is only going 30mph it can seem a lot faster and still have the same effect as at the start of the ride.

Yeah, Symbiotic, I experienced the same thing with my new "Avian Assault". The first half was marvelous, but the second half, after I decided I wanted it to end, was a disappointment. Remember, people LOVE roller coaster and HATE when they end. So maybe add a little, like Real suggested. Just a few more segments, maybe 5 or 6 that add to the second half. Then you could call it balanced, and maybe a little more exciting! It's your ride, so it's your call, but don't forget that people looking for thrilling rides like this one won't want it to ever end!

By the way, I just actually realized how flashy the name is. Cool title, man!

Well as of right now the ride is done and to change that would be a pain in the ass... and to tell you the truth, i love this ending. Before the mcbr its very twisted and intense, and then after it goes into a smooth flowing turns and inversions that you almost float through. I like the change of pace to tell you the truth. Once its up you can judge on your own, but I like it, and i hope people pay attention to the whole ride instead of there not being a helix at the end. Real, I definantly know what you are talking about and will definently think about that in the future, but as of now this is how I want it.

I won't judge against a missing helix, I just can't wait to see that twisted insane first half!!!!!!!

[edit] I probably should've said "against a helix not being there", instead of "against a missing helix", becuase the helix was never there and not intended to be there in the first place.

Yea, I knew it was too late for that - just something in general that incase you didnt miss, wanted to throw out there. First half looks quite sweet though.
