I liked the ride, but I think it could improve a little bit. I would give it around a 7.5 or so, but everytime I go to rate a track, I'm not able to. Hmph, stupid computer...
I was a little hesitant on my opinion with some of the banking manueveurs, but now I'd say that they're decent. I like all the twisted sections, but maybe an airtime hill?
Do you base your opinioin on those of others? First you said it wasn't very good, almost 2 whole points lower than either of the rates so far, and now you're saying it's "decent?" Please, if you are not now, just be honest hear. It looks like your not, that's lame.
I apologize for the habits I've adapted to, but between my friends, when someone says "it's decent", or the more common "it's dece" it means it's really good! So by me saying it's decent it means I've come to like it better than I did in my first rate.
Let me clarify myself. I think the ride is really good. I like the ride. It could be a little better, but it could be ALOT worse. Meaning it's a really good track (8-ish), which I've been trying to imply, but I understand how my habits and implications could've been confusing.
Also, I do not believe it matters how many points below or how many points above my rate was compared to others (I'm about to get extremely off-topic). Which is the one thing that frustrates me about some users on this site (not necessarily including you, Iron Man). I have gotten some messages saying "how come you rated my track two points lower than everybody else?" Well, so-and-so, am I "everybody else"? NO! I have my own opinion and what I rate is MY OWN OPINION. All rates do not have to be close together, and I hope everybody that reads this reply understands how I feel about that!
Take a look at the length of my rate. Three full size, well developed paragraphs. Now take a look at what you wrote. A few sentences at best. I am backing my numbers up, you seem to just regurgitate and throw a number in. Lets let this topic get back in order, it doesn't need this.
Before we get it back in order, I'd like to say that I didn't rate Greystone Radiator, so I have absolutely no idea where you got the "small sentences that regurgitate" information, and I would also like to say that under any circumstances I always have a 3+ Paragraph Rating for every track that I decide to rate, so simple sentences would never come from my side.
I actually do kind of agree with Iron Man though, unless there is actually going to be a legit rating, just random guesses at what you would rate it arent really necessary. Everyone is definently inclined to their own opinions with rates (unless they dont know shiz), but also need to have a strong base for that rate that wont shift around. I do think that paying attention to other peoples rates is important, but shouldnt really affect the rating, because if you rate with a real understanding of a ride, your number score will most likely be around the same as the other peoples ratings anyway (minus the crap ones). Also, being a hard rater isnt exactly a good thing. Being a thoughrough rater is good, but being hard to be hard isnt.
