Now I fully understand the rules and stuff for this site but I dont get why they are so strick.....what is this a communism. I love this site to hear from people and ideas from people but I hate it when my topic gets locked without even notifying me through a message, because it "lacked interest". Now here's a question does it lack interest to the members of this site or does it lack interest to the person who locked it on me. You be the judge, but it's very annoying for a topic to be locked because of a stupid rules. I understand that sites with so many people have rules to keep it from getting out of control, but in the same sense does it really matter if people are grammatically correct or whatevr? I mean seriously, is it really REALLY necessary? Well at this point in the game I really don't think it is because it seems like all the people on here are very very serious about their tracks and what not but sometimes way to serious about topics and I just dont understand why people have to be so serious.....I mean aren't roller coasters meant to be fun and exciting.....and if we are acting so serious and anl on this site then what fun are we really having. The point I'm trying to get at is some of the rules just shouldn't be so serious because its just plain stupid.

Communism is a socialistic economy in which everybody works for the better of the people, but no one is better then the other, you're as good as the general population/government allows you to be. The correct term you are looking for would be "dictatorship."

As for correct spelling, yes it really does matter. It all matters. We want people to be intelligent and have intelligent discussions that are on topic for the most part, but still allow everyone to enjoy and express themselves. What we are not is a myspace/IM service. We don't want people making a topic just about anything if no one cares about it. For example we don't care if you just got a $2 raise on your paycheck, so don't make a topic about that, because if you do then all that topic does is sit there and it takes up space.
And the site isn't all about being serious, but there should be some point to what topics you make. Our rules are no stricter then any other coaster site like TPR or CS.com. WWS used to pride itself as being a laid back site allowing the members to do pretty much whatever they wanted, but it can only go so far. Those freedoms were abused and there was a noticable drop in quality of the site. The rules are there because we want a quality forum where people go to share information about roller coasters, or todays current events, or "occassionally" post something fun for members to view or try. But what we don't want is a topic about what we should name your roller coaster, because frankly, nobody cares about that either. Most people could care less about the ride's name in general. You could name it the fuzzy bunny of steel and assuming you had something that caught people's attention, people would ride your ride and enjoy it.

So here's a quick summary. You can have fun so long as you're not being stupid. A stupid/silly remark here and there is fine, but when all you do is stupid, well then we just get sick of it.

Even after the abused freedoms, I feel this is still one of the most laid back sites. There are just enough rules and enough people carrying out those rulse to keep a good balance in fun and intelegence. You complain about correct spelling and grammar. Sheesh, if you can't do that, you're either not old enough to be a member here or you're uneducated and don't belong here. It's not hard to finish up a word, or go back over a post for 30 seconds, so do it. Don't whine, don't complain, if you don't like it, tough s**t.

*Sorry, but "tough shiz" just looks to retarded. lol
Curse you word blocker...

Dude, This topic about naming your ride is not just not of interest to SFF, it is to just about everyone...

FYI this site is a dictatorship, we'll have you executed from the site for no reason at all. Either you conform to OUR rules or you can go ahead and continue behaving as you wish and feel the iron fist of our rule. Attention mods and staff, you have my permission to ban this person on sight if he gets out of line. BTW, staff is under my direct rule too, ask SFF, he rus everything by me before locking a topic or banning someone. So you topic was locked because I said so. Enough said.
Have a nice day, we're the most laid back coaster site around, if you feel that was out of line, feel free to do the same at others and get your butt handed to you on a silver platter with some chipotle dressing on it.
Also for being a member that has resided here for 1 year and 12 days with only 19 posts shows how much you participate in the site's discussion. You're probably just one of the thousands of people who just come for the tracks and leave without caring of the hard work the staff and true community members put into this website. There's a reason we're as big and strong as we are. Because we rule!

Ok heres the thing....to talk about me caring about the site is one thing and for one chuffin thing...you have no chuffin clue how hard i chuffing work to get a new server to you asshole.....I work for ups and you have never seen anyone work as hard as some of the people in the warehouse to ship new servers to the site that always seems to have problems. Heres another thing.....do you walk into a store and automatically think oh my god so much work went into this store and the quality....no! and the same goes for going on the internet and going to different sites. I dont surf the web and think of how much work went into the site i'm on.....im on this site because of the fact i want to learn something or just want to see some new cool roller coaster tracks and see if I can get some help on a few things I'm not sure on how to do on my game. But the mattaer of the fact is that no matter what you are not chuffing god and to say you have rule over another person is one of the most ridiculous thing i have heard in a long time....who the chuff are you Saddam Hussein. Next time you want to come at me with absolute bullshiz about me getting my ass handed to me on a platter and you having subordinates or some bullshiz then fine...but next time could you maybe do it with some class and by the way get a mother chuffin green card

And in the words of an asshole I know

Have a nice day!

That was sent to me in MySpace, guess he was scared to post it here. [lol] Green card? excuse, get on your little boat and float back to your contry. You don't want to get racial with me [:)] Yet you wonder why your topics get locked... you lack common sense.

Soooo.... how long did it take you to learn how to hack peoples IP addresses? Do you sit on the computer all day and learn how to chuff with peoples shiz... I bet you think you got him SOOO bad. Directing his IP address to dictionary.com - Idiot.... well it wasn't his IP address it was mine... so from now on... I can't look at your site... Not that it was a prize anyway. I mean... It's a site where people who spend HOURS upon HOURS of their time on the computer playing with a GAME take pictures and post them in GLORY. and you have the balls to stick up for yourself as a righteous site full of IMPORTANT info... dude your not CNBC.com... get the hell over yourself.... get the chuff off the computer and get a life.

and if your gonna post this too... unblock my adress so i can atleast read your comment... pussy

wow, just wow. I mean get bent all over out of shape because you can no longer look at a site that wasn't a prize. Well then, call me stupid and ignorant but why would you visit a site that isn't worth your time looking at in the first place? Man, these Hillbillies must pass an IQ Test before being allowed to go on the internet. No offense to Real who works / worked for UPS (?) But the one thing I sent something important to UPS it got there 5 days late. So, if you are the one handling servers and what not, then your manager should be shot on the spot for allowing such stupid people to work in important and delicate item positions.

Ya know what is really sad? Is that he actually believes he has a valid point with his 60 posts of WWS history! I say we make xfreakx1687 and his white goo bunk mate staff members ... he has obviously earned his place. Commenting about him working for UPS and how hard he worked to get the server to you! Too bad he does not know that we did not send the server using UPS .....

And oh, posting at your MySpace instead of here ... [lol] ... coward.

Thanks for the IPs mate. [}:)]
I clearly read his comments as a declaration of war, as well.

And Rachel .... wow .... just wow. [serious applause]

I would just like to say, first off, that I don't appreciate you making fun of the people on the site [that respect everyone else] and also that enjoy your so called "playing with a GAME, taking PICTURES, and posting them in glory." This game is going to help some users here become great designers one day, and if you didn't like that, why did you sign up after reading the rules anyway?

I'd like to set aside this line for giving my props to Rachael [lol]!

Also, XfreakX, in case you DID not already notice the positives of this site (three guesses if he did or not), than you'd see that everyone here IS trying to make fun and exciting roller coasters! And most of them actually are, and EVERYONE is nice and EVERYONE cares about EVERYONE. Well, as of about now there is one exception.

I don't understand why you'd be so mean to WWS...he is very nice and you decide to rail on him for being Mexican. *tisk-tisk*.

We all might need to get lives but you need to get a chuffing heart!

And ANOTHER THING. This site IS CNBC.com, if you must know!!!!

It's a shame he won't be able to return to read this...I thought out how to make my reply a good one [lol]

Actually I do, because if the store is shizty quality, then I most likely wouldn't go in there in the first place.

This is the biggest f**cking hypocrite I have ever seen. First off you say that WWS has no life. Stop jacking off to the Sear's catalog and realize that starting an argument over the internet for something that you broke the rules for is absolutely stupid. If anything, that is as low as whale s**t. If there are a change of rules, you adapt to them, not ignore them and continue doing your old things.

[lol][lol][lol][lol]You have just said the funniest thing I've ever heard in my life LMFAO [lol][lol][lol][lol]

And another thing to you xfreakx. Why did you make such a fuss over getting your topic locked. You said in your [coward] myspace message to WWS that you wanted to learn things about your rides. WTF, you wanted to learn the name or your ride!?!? You had 3 choices from yourself, pick one! Don't post a thread just to show everyone else on the site you have cool name ideas, just pick a name, and use the other two for your next projects. Problem solved! [:)]

WWS and SSF, I apologize for the rest of UPS.

Sadly, the standards that our Hub in Toledo Ohio hold up are well, well above the rest of the company. Our goals for packages being misloaded are either at, or above the competition. However, we also handle nearly 10 times more volume a day than either DHL or FedEx both Nationally and Globally.

This first picture is an excerpt from my UPSERS website for employees that has all kinds of work related information. This was posted on Dec 29th and highlights 2 employees from my Work Operation who have gone well above and beyond their requirements. I am proud to have them as my employees and I will be very upset (most likly tomorrow) when I find I will be moving to another operation. Kyle and Rachael put forth the highest effort to make sure everyones packages get to their destination on time. Infact, during the entire holiday season, my entire area only made that mistake 5 times out of some nearly 180,000 packages that we handled in that 5-6 week spread.

Image

This picture is another clip taken from the site in December where it lists the top Shifts/Sorts in the Nation. Notice the Best in Class? Thats ALL THREE SHIFTS at my Hub. We have held that position for several years and the company has noticed. They have moved many of our great leaders to other hubs in the country that need the kind of leadership we have at our disposal. Why are we #1? I dont know. I never thought anything good could come from Toledo, Ohio, but I was wrong.

I work on that Toledo Day Sort. We know that no one else in the company competes with us except the other Sorts in our building.

Image

xfreakx1687 - Please, I hope the attitude you had here does not carry over to UPS. I would be ashamed to have you as one of my employees and while I would try my best to get you to understand a more productive and quality work ethic (along with attitude) if you did screw with me, youd be gone so fast you wouldnt know what hit ya.

This kind of thing really disturbs me. I do take this back to my managers but all we can do is pass it on. We do our part in the company where I work, so you can rest assured I am not part of the problem but rather the solution.

[off topic] I like the word screener that makes f**k=chuff. :) [/off topic]

This guy should be given a gold medal in the What-the-Hell-is-your-Problem Olympics. It really isn't that hard to follow the rules. I mean, seriously, he can't follow common sense like speak well and be respected, and don't try to bite the hand that feeds by telling off the site's admins.
And bravo WWS for a nice MySpace retaliation! :)

I thank you for the complement, but I can't except it seeing as how I don't even work for UPS.
