Going to visit SFGA for the first time of my life this April. Does anybody have any suggestions? like how to get most roller coaster rides possible, peak time, where to eat, how much money should I prepare, what should do or what should not, good and bad things there, something like that. I'd be pleased[8D]if you guys help me out.

Maybe some hanging-out friends would be even nice too!

Thanks yall,

Curious, have you been there SFF? If not I suggest you don't talk trash about something you've never seen or experienced.

fiat, Great Adventure is not nearly as bad as he says. I've seen one fight (a big one, but still) several years ago, and I have been going to the park atleast 5-10 times per year for the last 5 years or so. This year I only saw less than 10 people smoking all year, and line cutting was *greatly* reduced. Ride operations suck sometimes, especially those at Kingda Ka, and occasionally Chiller, Superman, or El Toro, but generally it's not too bad. Don't expect short lines if you go during a Saturday in the summer, or any day in the summer for that matter. I usually go Sundays during summer months and it generally isn't *too* bad there, lines wise.

It's no Dorney in terms of guest friendliness, but "gang wars" and "FUBAR" are gross exaggerations.

El Toro is worth mentioning too, because it's easily one of the top 5 coasters in America, on the same level as excellent rides like Superman at Six Flags New England, Millennium Force at Cedar Point, and Voyage at Holiday World.

That's fine, but still nomatter how rude or inconsiderate some of the guests may be, your statements were highly exaggerated.

thanks for the information man.

still, will Flash Pass make any differences?
Think I'm gonna go there during weekend though. How hot is it there in summer?

I'd guess it probably averages 85* in the summer, but up to 95* is still within the normal range. Google should be good to convert those values if you use Celsius.

Lines will suck on the weekend in the summer. If you must do weekend try for Sunday. Kingda Ka's line can easily get up to 4 hours for regular guests due to operations, El Toro probably averages 1.5 hours, Medusa has been a walkon every Sunday I've gone, Nitro's usually around 15-25 mins, Chiller (if it's open) will most likely be around 1.5-2 hours, Batman's I guess .5-1 hour, and Superman's usually at like 1.5-2 hours or so. Since it'll be your only time there, I'd say a flashpass would be nice. Depends on the value of the money to you vs. how much you want to get out of the day.

more questions

Will all coasters be opened on weekdays?
How much money you guys usually spend on a trip to Great Adventure? so I can decide how much I should prepare.
