Hi all. I was wondering where you upload a track if you are to make a Track Tennis round. I saw here http://www.weeweeslap.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8829
And when ever i click the link it says The specified track tennis game is not in progress. I only want to know so i can start one of my own thanks....!

You'd have to talk to RiscIt to even think about starting a track tennis game. There is one currently going on at coastersims.com and RiscIt isn't a member here. So if you're looking for Track Tennis, go there. Do be advised though, the CS is a tough crowd at times.

I suggest you try to gain more experience with No Limits and general tact before trying to host a track tennis game.

You can if you want to. Riscit just made his own system for it.

I think he would be best served talking to the staff here about starting a game.

RiscIt set that game up on his NLDC, so I think Iron Man meant to say that he would have to talk to RiscIt if he wanted to have it hosted on NLDC.

Really man, just take the advice from DCs and get more familiar with the game/forums/people who have been doing this for a lot longer. I've been in this since just after the creation of No Limits and I still wouldn't want to hold a Track Tennis match. It takes a lot of time and dedication. Not to mention experience.

Or, how about everyone that wants to play some Track Tennis head on over to C2K? Haha, I mean you're saying that CoasterSims is a tough crowd, but over at C2K there's one goin' on, and you won't get railed over there!

But Phanoity, I agree with Iron Man and dcs, it would not be smart to go into any Track Tennis round (any site) without being at least moderate at designing. Probably more than that! By the way Riscit is the guy that runs the Development Center and he made the organized Track Tennis system. I've never talked with him, but he seems to be very involved with a lot of things that go on in the coaster community.

P.S. Track Tennis can't be started by posting a track and saying, "Guys, I was bored, and I think it would be cool to ref a match of TT"...besides, I still have question about whether or not you know all the rules or know the first thing about refereeing a match.

Some corrections -

RiscIt is a member here. He just isn't very active.

You do not need to talk to RiscIt to start a track tennis match. You only need to do that if you want it set up to use the NLDC track tennis upload system. You can host your own match however you like (obviously), and I don't have anyting to do with it.

The only requirement for having a match run on the NLDC system is that the referee go by and enforce the pseudo-official rules as posted here:

http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/pageid-2.html

There was a match run here awhile back which used the NLDC system. The match was removed from the NLDC (and I assume finished via other means) after the referee stopped following the rules. That set a bad precedent for future matches.

I would encourage you to setup your own match with your own system.

I think it would be great if we make another track tennis, with or without NLDC, its always fun.
