why not spend a few extra dollars (pounds?!) and get a lightscribe capable drive? I have one and the novelty factor seems pretty high. [lol]

Just don't install Vista yet, and you'll have a great computer.

Great PC there. Only comment I have about it is if you are pretty good with computers and you understand how to over clock properly you can get a cheaper and slightly less powerful processor the Core 2 Duo E4400. Apparently it is crazy good for over clocking and way cheaper to. But if money isn't a problem then stick with the E6700.

Lmao at hyperdude. Windows Xp 64 for the win!

This is not my quote, a friend made it, but it's perfect.

Best is to wait, always wait.
I hate computers hardware for that. If you wait 3 monts for ATi's x2800 why not wait again few months for Intel Wolfdale's 45nm CPUs with BearlakeX Chipset with DDR3, PCI-E 2.0 and Sata 6G? No matter what you will loose 6 months after *sigh*

Its the nature of upgrading/buying new computer. Its impossible to keep up with the latest tech around unless you have loads of money to spend.

You should only wait if its going to be something that will be completely different then what is out now. I got burned on my college computer because I got an mobo a few months before PCIE started to really hit it big.

Its not like those specs are mid-range or anything. They will last you a while.
