The autopsy is still underway, but it is said that is was, as expected, drugs. I agree with the above, a drug abuse death deserves no respect.
Well there were no illegal drugs involved it seems at this point. Let me have a rare serious moment here though. People who die from drug abuse are so far contaminated by the addiction that, the death itself doesn't occur from a concious effort to die. Therefore, I don't agree with you that a death from substance abuse deserves no respect. All death is sad and tragic. Even people who have been executed for commiting horrific crimes are loved and missed by someone. When I made jokes earlier and with all jokes I will make in the future, it didn't/doesn't mean that I have less respect for life than anyone else. I have always been a person who can laugh at even the darkest, sickest things. It runs in my family. With the slew of jokes out there about things like Jeffrey Dahmer, the space shuttle accidents, Hellen Keller, etc; you can see there are a lot of us who have a similar sense of humor. In a forum like this, you get people from all over who don't share the same humor. So if you don't like it, don't laugh at it. But, I think it's a bit extreme to be accuseing people of being cold or cruel because of it. I likely will be making jokes about my mom when she's on her death bed. And, I would expect nothing less than the same from my loved ones when I die. It's just who we are and I don't think it means anything is wrong with us.
I would like to say, while I'm still in rare serious mode, that should the father of Anna's baby prove to be some average joe who is not a part of the spotlight and chaotic lifestyle that seemed to be a part of Anna's everyday life, it would be the best thing for that baby. To be raised away from all that insanity that would have/will surround her. I do feel bad for any child that has to go through life not knowing their mother and especially feel for one who's first years will involve all kinds of legal battles over paternity and inheritance. I wish that little girl all the luck in the world.
