Hey guys,
I just quickly looked at the Thorpe Park website and they have tweaked the hydraulic boosters on Stealth to make it even quicker to 80! Under 2 seconds! Can you beleiver it?! Heres the link for the home page and when you get there watch the top of the page and it will tell you about it. It will give you more info if you click on Stealth on the right hand side.http://www.thorpepark.com/
Thanks.
Jordz.

I believe this was to lessen the chances of rollbacks, something which happened a lot last year.

I wish that we would recieve a nice small rocket design like that one in my area. Only thing relatively close is Xcelerator at Berry Farm, and that's all of the way down in Cali.

Ooh..that's harsh [B)][;)]

Even with the extra boost, Stealth has already had its first rollback of the year.

Rollbacks will always happen at some point. Too many variables.

However, it will help because getting to top speed sooner rather than later assures you at least reach whatever exact critical speed they need.

I so badly want to experience a rollback. I hear that the Hydraulic Compress-Launches are good for those [;)] Hypersonic maybe?

Stop complaining. I'm not sure where exactly you live, but just having Xcelerator within reach is reason enough to be happy [;)]

Dumb question but, is the max. speed raised, or the acceleration only? No idea what speed it originally had [:)]

I like how they put "nitrogen boosters" when all it is, is hydrolic pressure being released spinning 16 motors and thus launching the train.

Compressed nitrogen gas forces the fluid through the motors to generate energy

Give a cockney chav a spanner and go tell them to tweak with the pumps.
Not a good idea. The difference barely will be noticable.

I personally don't think it will make much of a difference in the overall experience. The ride is so short anyway... And we have a super pumped up version right down in NJ.
