Top Level Domain Registration Blocks

As of right now all top level domains ending in .pl and .ru are no longer able to register accounts here. Anyone with an existing .ru account or a .pl account will be terminated in the next 5 minutes. If you have a friend who states they can no longer login, ask them if their email addres ends in .ru or .pl, if so have them register again with an address like from hotmail.com or something. The reason for this block is to the increase in false registrations and the work involved in veriyfing the real from fake, with 90% being fake. Deleting couple hundred pending members a day due to this has become irrational, therefore, these steps are necessary to maintain my sanity. Thank you.

as far as i know .ru and .pl are from russia and poland. I don't think we have active russian or polish members here

ty, yeah, I am aware they are not that coaster savy so no reason to allow them onto the site

Noticing that I'm still able to log on I believe that my .co.za domain is all right. [:D]

I can't remember how the registrations work here but most of the site these days use that weird looking code thingy just to ensure that the person registering is human (Just thinking that I can maybe give some advice) this is if the server doesn't support that already. Another tip is to make sure that the person registering notices the seriousness of the situation and doesn't neglect using he?????????s profile or overflow it with crap.[;)]

Sorry, yeah only russian and polish addresses are not allowed. I am aware of the picture type in thingy but I don't have the sanity to code into this version of the site but will be in the new one.
