Ah, fantastic, my least favourite type of coaster [:)] Oh well, it'll all be worth while when i get to round 2 [:D]

Nah, seriously, it's gonna be cool to see what some people come up with.

Question: if we decide to engineer this like Arrow would have, how many tech points will you take off, assuming we stay inside the posted g-force limits?

Ick.. man the terrain sucks.

Anyway. Height? I know somebody else answered, but I'd like an official answer since there is no clear indication in the rules.

look at the height of the template in side view. As i see it here it's 55m in the air [:)] You can convert it into ft if you want. But out the back of my head the boundary is around 175/190ft
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

I hope realism isn't judged, otherwise we're screwed.

Which Arrow? Pre Tennessee Tornado Era or TT and what would have been after?

A huge difference.

Don't EVER tell me to change a metric measurement to english. I'll hunt you down and feed your intestines to the dogs. Ok, maybe I won't, but I'll be mad.

Anwho, I just wanted to be sure before I screw something up.

-Edit-
It's 55.90 meters anyway. [:P]

Oh, definitely pre-TT... didn't think to specify as that's what I had in mind.

^^I figured Kevin, but, if youve been on TT, then you understand that any style should be recognized for what it is.

What constitutes as "in" the template? Are we looking at trains or actual track?

I have a question! Can you make 3ds for the coaster? I am new to contests and tournaments, so give me a break if I ask something stupid!

I know what happened... I measured that after I had accidentally hit select all. It was 55.9 then... [:P]

So if we were to build this with harsh laterals and some sudden jerks, you wouldn't take points off?

"and get stuffed the lot of you, im rubbish at terrain"

Then why did you subject 64 people to this instead of getting someone else to do it? Here, along with the sometimes horrible grammar, starts the unprofessionalism.

Seriously, put some thought into these things. Corkscrew coaster to start? Did you consider that many of the good people will purposely make their BT horrible, only to lose because you missed 98% of the characteristic features of Arrow shaping? Then bad people will have their normal BT and it'll be viewed as "very Arrow-like" even though they'll have completely screwed up. Not good for a contest, especially one where these people won't have the chance to completely control their destiny after this first round.

Good job in fixing grammar coolbeans.

^ I fixed his grammar errors on the original post.
-edit- Cleaned it up even more.[:)]

But a word of note. If you can't get something to look nice, I would reccommend not diving head first into this until you are sure of what you are doing and what you can do. And if you can't do it yourself, then be sure that you'll at least be able to direct some one else to help you accomplish your buisness.

But I'm staying out of this one. I'm not all the good at the terrain editor.
