I have to say mccain. No matter hot many votes barack gets mccain will win simply because the electorial college will not vote for a man like obama i mean look at the bush VS gore. Gore won by a landslide in the polls but the electorial college voted for bush. Man america has a great political system.
P.S. before people start calling me uneducated, i learned this is school in eight grade.

If by "won by a landslide" you mean 50,999,897 votes to 50,456,002 votes. And what do you mean by "the electoral college will not vote for a man like Obama?" Please elaborate...

Uh the electoral college typically votes all or nothing to the person with the most votes in that state.

I guess I just thought that was a weird way to word the sentence. You could say "Obama may not be able to win all the electoral votes needed to win the race," but "the electoral college will not vote for a man like Obama" is the wrong way to put it.

I honestly don't know yet. But I have a question for everyone. I've heard McCain has been sick in the past, so therefore he doesn't seem like he'd last long in office, and Obama isn't going to last long either. I say this because there's no doubt in my mind there's going to be some racist bastard that's going to assassinate him, with no doubt. I wanted to know what you people think about this.

With Mccain being sick in all...

Do you REALLY think that Palin can run the country? Joking around on SNL... and just not knowing the country to her fullest because shes not experinced.

I like Palin, but she's not ready.

Although I fully support McCain, there is no point. Americans are retarded. I think Obama will win and America will crumble. At least I have family in Europe.

Based on the historical fact that only about 38% of America will get their arses off their couches and vote; I would say it is too hard to call right now.

I am voting McCain. Though I think Obama will win it. A friend of mine and I made maps on CNN.com (No I dont watch CNN but I do visit the website.) He thinks Obama will win by about 25 electoral votes. I think/hope McCain will win by 2 electoral votes.

The way I see it, its gonna be a close race.

Obama here... grudgingly. I was leaning toward McCain for quite awhile, but i wasn't particularly happy with his VP choice. Ordinarily, I wouldn't give a flip about the VP choice. Considering McCain's health and age though, I think it would be a wise consideration. I honestly cannot stomach the thought of her in the white house if something should happen to McCain. I'm also not happy with the way McCain has been acting lately. He seems to be courting the ultra conservative crowd more than he has in the past. So much for being a maverick...

I would investigate the other choices out there, but it wouldn't make much difference here in Oklahoma. Usually, we only have the two major parties on the ballots here.

Wait a sec here, you think that Obama will cause America to crumble when many of things he wants to do are similar to things that have been done in Europe for a long time?

yeah, who the hell wants palin running our country. McSame just picked her just to get all the women voters. its obvious, anyone who doesnt realize that is just dumb. palin doesnt know sh!t, and if your relying on both the presidential candidates dieing anyways, one threw age, one threw assassination, then biden is the way to go. screw palin.

c'm on now. did you really think about that. i got news.. the 'women" voters are not what he picked her for, it's not a secret that obama has them, hillary snubbed or no. mc cain knew that many repubicans, the important ones, the christian fundamentalists ones, and even the almost fundamentalists ones, were not happy about his nomination, mostly because his policies differ from bush's in alot of ways.. to top it off james dobson (who has huge influence over them) said that he wasn't even going to vote at all..with this in mind did mc cain pick her.. she's a political bone being thrown to them.. she's a born again, she has pooploads of kids, she tows the christian/blindly patriotic line, etc.. they flocked to her like professional students do to obama. that's why he picked her.. the "women' dont like her at all, and to be honest she's all mccain really has when it comes to the base he needs....

alright true. you got me, i get what your saying. but besides the fact, biden would still be the better choice if you were talking about both the candidates possibly dieing. i just dont think palin would be able to lead our country, no offense.

I'm not so much a political person but could someone please explain something to me? Lately the news has been incorporating the most mis-leading information when they bring up Obama and McCain. Last block at school I took a data analysis class and practically everything I learned in there about how to distort data is being used by the news. In my opinion, I think that FOX is trying to push people towards Obama. Seriously, something as small as Obama wining by 51% while McCain was shortly behind at 49% was displayed in a graph with scales jacked up way beyond the normal zero along with un-even ranges! Essentially, the graph they showed is technically correct but to the un-knowing person it appears that Obama absolutely murdered McCain when in reality it was pretty damned close!

your poll is messed up.

Joe Biden will be our next president. Unless ofcourse Obama goes into isolation in some remote island country that has nuclear subs and battleships protecting it.
