Just a random question, but does anyone know what happened to last years runner-up (Wing-over)? He dropped Black Halo on us and then dissapeared.

I was kind of wondering the same thing... he still has to post his finals coaster so that the medals can be given out...

I am definently going fantasy. I'm making up a story behind it, where Arrow was bought out (which is real) and this coaster exists in the future, where the company was brought back to life and bought out...

More comeing with the release.
X2 ??? Intimidator 305 ??? Millennium Force ??? Iron Rattler ??? El Toro ??? Fury 325 ??? Maverick ??? Skyrush ??? Twisted Timbers ??? Voyage

As for Wing-over, I heard he was involved in a fatal pickle truck accident...

He shall be missed dearly.

I got some quick work done on the beginning of my entry today. My inspiration for the coaster is the original Steel Phantom. What I really want to do is create a multi-looper with some hypercoaster elements mixed in.

It starts with a "quaint" 120 foot drop at a 70 degree angle off of the lift, followed by a little burst of air. Then the train rises up to 140 feet, at the edge of the hill. Then comes one of the most insane drops I've ever made. The train is still going about 25 mph at the top of the drop, so it really rips over the top. Then it's 140 feet down at a 76 degree angle.

And, just for the hell of it...
(oh, yeah... that's the good stuff!)

alton be sure to include totally pointless banking like on Vortex at PKI.

One thing I really like about this template is the number of places to start the ride and have a fun pre-lift while we are at it.

dude... 2 days? WTF?

By the way, gazag, I highly recommend that you start rating the coasters before the round ends... trust me, rate-as-you-go is MUCH easier than sitting down with a pile of 30+ coasters to rate all at once.

You can definitely tell that it's rushed, but not that bad. We'll just have to see how many peeps actualyl enter.

My trackwork is finished, now I get to sit here for two weeks and take my time with supports and extras. [:)]

Most of my projects as of late take somewhere in the 2-3 day range... it's just NL after all. Plus I had finished finals and am a bit sick, so free time finally wasn't an issue.

Plus, I figured gazag would appreciate having a few early tracks to look at before the onslaught!

I can see how it's possible. I've been home all week from school sick, and there's really not much to do. I managed to finish track work in 2 days really easily.

I look forward to seeing more pics/releases of yall's coasters.

Lol, You spin me right round...like a record baby!

I'll "throw up" a screen or 2 in a few.

Just put up a teaser for now, I'll take regular shots once a few elements are supported. http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p3256

Haha...you might be right ;). It was simply that I felt too sick to get drunk after finals! That, and I am a huge nerd.

Kevin I have to say I'm quite impressed what designs you've proven to pull up in such short times. Glory is not the only quality creation. You said you did blizzard in a matter of hours, and look, it got the silver! Something does give me the question about whether or not you do have a life...and blagh, alcohol is gross! Why get drunk, regardless of nausea status?

My turn XD

I think it may be a bad thing that niether supports, trackwork, or scenery aren't done yet.

Kinda late to ask but can you change the train length? becuase my coaster works better with 4 cars trians than 6.
