clicky

ive seen one in real life at star city in birmingham, they got rid of it after the robot malfunctioned and it didnt return to its set position and they got the egineers from a local factory out to fix it.

still they look great fun but might want to get it slightly higher from the floor

wow, that looks fun. The person's head was seriously about a cm off the ground at the beginning though. If it malfunctioned and went any lower, her head would be ripped off.

and you think that would not be possiable, bet they could do that easy.

look at them new simulators that can go upside down, cannot remember the name of them but you can make your own sequence on them so it wouldent take much for one of these

Yeah, theres one of those things right by my house. It's pretty sweet, holds 2 peeps, and you sit in a little pod with a screen, and it shows a coaster on the screen while you're goin all over the place.

Here's another robo-ride, a "Robo-coaster" (the Kuka one) with 2 seats and OTSRs. It's a final installation version in Dubai.

I've been thinking about something like this for NL. Imagine you can build one that reads the G data from the software and then distributes the forces back to you. Then we can actually ride our rides. Just three things missing, a screen, speakers and a large fan for wind.

thats the same thing that was a star city, its no where near as fast as the one in my video thought. the programing on the that was rubbit too, it should of been doing more menuvers towards the crowd than the wall IMO

Robo-Arms are a ton of fun! They used to have one 2 years ago in a fun indoor park in Duluth called Banzana'z and it was a ton of fun! Although, the one that I went on at Banzana'z was alot whippier than the one on the vid.

Yeah, I did notice the distinct lack of energy from the Dubai arm. It's odd that the higher-budget (I assume) would make for a more-boring ride.

They have robo arms at Legoland here in California, but not nearly as fun as that one looks to be.

They too have them in the Lego Land in Germany They were installed just in the season I was there. Tons of fun, seriously, you're more or less able to create the whole ride from different little maneuvers seperated by intensity. Best thing about that was that almost nobody seemed to stand in line for it. A truely awesome day, even without any good rollercoaster at the park.
