Some final teasers:

I've been supporting like crazy, and feel like showing some more stuff off, so here's the pics. This coaster is still on pace for being posted late tomorrow night. If not then, Thursday afternoon.


Here's the diving loop, which is slanted in such a way that it feels a bit like a spiral as well. Due to the terrain height, the bottom is very flat, resulting in some very intense g-forces in the back seat. The loop to the left pulls 4 g's as well, and the station area is in the background.


2 things in this pic: first, the big drop. It's 130 feet at a 76 degree angle. The second thing is the final original inversion on the ride, hereby dubbed the "lateral air roll" with an entrance like a corkscrew, but an exit like a 0-g roll. The ending is very intense.. this element throws -1 g's of airtime at the exit, and it is combined with an intense medley of high-g turns, fast transitions, and lots of airtime.

Those supports on the second drop looks like something earthquake proof we would see in Japan[;)]

if a ride goes into a set of mag brakes gonig slow, but the brakes niether slow down the ride or make it go faster, is that counted twards one of the means of propultion.

Why don't you just use a break segment, then set it as no-brake so that all that shows up are the Lims?

if it does nothing whats the point in having them?, but it would be counted as a launch unless it slowed the train down, the only things which wont be counted to a launch would be the transport sections around the station area for transporting the train from the breaks to the station and from the station to the lift/launch.

track can touch the ground as long the car/wheels do not, right???

acctually yeah thats entirely possiable. you can do that as its realistic.

look at the ultimate at lightwater vally england which sticks close to the ground and just uses 2 rails straight from the ground with no supports

What's the point of showing others what you have in a tournament,
you better can't show your original stuff because people will copy it, and if show a little people on ly see one inversion or so witch they probalby see also in their own rides. so i show just my car tex and logo and such stuff because that isn't a secret.

^and, this is what I feel. "Want to see my ride? I made a full-fledged video on everything ive done and includes a POV and an overview. You can see it 100% and totally know exactly what to expect when you download it." Something I would probably say. I don't care if people know what it looks like. Not any less chance of getting further in the tournament.

I only say what i think about it... every body shows as much as he/she wants.

That what you've done to your NLDC wasn't wat i meant, you can do what you want as long as you don't say that you removed it, because i don't said that you must do it! so don't blame me...

Haha im just playing around man. Its not that big a deal to me if I have pics up or not. I agree with what you were saying, but the pics i posted weren't like full layout so I wasnt to worried about anyone stealing elements or anything anyway. Once i get working on supports i'll post some real teaser shots though.

Showing pictures of your layout or ideas can work in different ways.

Should you choose to show people your "revolutionary" new element and people copy it, then everybody will know that yours was the original because you posted a picture.

As this round is not as tense as rounds to come i don't view it as important to give information away about my layout because I know if people copy then gazag can see they have.

-I do not assume that i will reach later rounds.
-Also my layout does not have revolutionary ideas to be stolen as its a classic arrow style with only a couple of newly introduced elements.

One question, and this may be out of my lack of knowing the way these work, but will Gazag be judging the designs himself, or will he have other judges assiting him with it?

i will be primarily judgeing but i do have some help so i dont do anything stupid
