Lacrosse is the best sport ever played! I hate playing Hockey but love watching my brother play. I really like playing Basketball. I'm not in any league for Soccer, but I have very good footwork and like to play for fun. I may even consider joinin' up with the school next season. I also enjoy Curling, although I'm new and my friend's father is teaching me proper balance. I've gained insane Leg/Calf muscle mass over these past few weeks from balance workouts [lol] Balancing on that ice is more difficult than people give credit for.

^Cool!!! I've never touched a snowboard or a ski before. (A water ski yeah but not a mountain ski). Been in the US when it was summer and I regularly visit Britain and Holland for my dad but those places are so flat that you can actually watch your dog run away for three days.

I like SnoBlading in the winter. Just went yesterday to the Local Alps, and I pulled a 360 mid-air spin and was doing tons of on-ground spins while going down courses! Tons of fun.

I like sissy sports where you don't get tired playing them like baseball and golf. In golf you dick around in a little cart, and in baseball everyone stands around patting each others butt for 5 minutes and then there is a small chance that the ball gets hit to you.

Unless you're a pitcher, like myself. Or a catcher, to be fair.

DCS is right about being the catcher or pitcher. I always loved baseball during gym class though. I got to stand around and do absolutely for half the class while we played it.

Dude, skateboarding, snowboarding, and jai alai all the way
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I want to try airsoft or paintball sometime, other than that I don't have much interest in sports. (unless you count nerf and water guns as sports lol)

Snowboarding for me, some of you might remeber my thread about Flums this winter...but yeah, very weak winter here in Europe, I totally ruined my board and I mean TOTALLY. I had a scratch into the wood core...yeah, got repaired luckily. Anywho, I too tried some tricks out and had the chance to help as an snowboard teacher and maybe in the next year or two I can become a teacher myself for freestyle techniques. Hopefully it all works out as planned, but yeah, snowboarding is teh thing!

Okay if Poker is a sport then Go Fish is a frigging sport. They're card games. Stupid ESPN.

Since when was real Golf using a cart? I dont see any of the pros using carts...Wonder why? Carts are for sissys. Try walking a 6800yrd course in the heat or the frigid rain. Its suddenly not the most fun. Of course, doing this willingly isnt that great unless you like the challenge. But Ive had to play in some tournaments under those conditions and it sucks. Definatly not so sissy when you carry your own clubs for 4 hours trying to make the same swings you did earlier 4-5 hours later under pressure.

Useless banter though. Most people will forever think its that way untill they try it - which they never will just out of principal.

Meh, Im a golfer and even I will admit that golf isnt a sport. We have to walk courses that arent even meant to be walked (country clubs where all the members use carts, most of them are really hilly with long walks between tees), and while it can be a bit tiring, it hardly compares to soccer or basketball, among other things.

E-Man - you cant compare team sports to singular sports. At least in team sports you have backup if you get tired or theres breaks in the game. Golf has no breaks, except between shots. And for most people, the longer the break, the worse it is because theres a particular rythm to it.

All in all, Golf should be compared to singular sports - not team sports. Its way, way too different.
