G force limitations are a bitch, especially with all of the newer designers in the contest.

If anyone has a problem with g-force limitations, it's logical that they won't have a good chance at this challenge. The point is to find the best at something (in this case designing coasters), not to make it easy on everyone.
I for example would have made the first round open for all and then picked the best 16 for the next rounds. But my rules would have been way more strict. 1.6g lateral really is a joke (that's wild mouse limits).

So I gues the tunnel hits on the side won't count or will count as extremly minor technical mistakes. Cuss if you manage to get your hand out on the sides you should probably see a doker.

It's 100% your fault you didn't check half of the train for G's. Get over it.

Is it just me, or do I many rides with only 2 loops and 2 corks? Come'on people, trhow something in you don't see everyday. And even If you have no ideas for new elements you can still look for a way to use a normal element in a new way.

My trackwork is done(except for the last 100 Meters. The ride is quitte cool, and its has a total of 6 inversions. Nothing realy special except for a kinda cool vertical loop meets diveloop.

You see, no Arrow style, even the supports are just diffult style

It thought i saw allot of oversized coasters.. so i started thinking small and compact.. and whats better than a compact Vekoma 2 loop 2 cork but with a little twist :)

Ok my trackwork is done! And now for the fun part-supports![flush] It's not a classic arrow or wekoma style. It has 10 inversions and 2 owerbanked turns.

Oh, and could you give me advice, where to find some nice 3ds and cartextures? Or if there's any program to make them?

Yeah and of the ride with 2 loops and two corks, mine is the only one with proper loops and a semi proper corkscrew entrance. It's nice that mine wasn't very original, but at least it hits the brakes at 30+mph and doesn't require a silly mid launch because I managed to pace it correctly.

Mid-ride launches are soooo overdone lol, good call at not including one ckmwm.

In here: 11 inversions, launch, and still a decent speed into the brakes... Around 30mph [:)]

I played around with some idea's I had when I was younger [:D]

I went with a prelift area followed by a lift - a bit more standard. I also think the mid ride launch thing is overdone - but perfect for track tennis ;)

I'd rather throw in a surprise for the riders, and have the ride end strongly, then have the train crawl up an incline to the station area. I don't know, but it's only the first round, and it's a cork type anyways, so I'm not too concerned.

They are only overdone because of the template. If it wasnt for that nobody would have bothered, don't say that coasterkid didnt need one because i already know that, the point is that with this template if you wanted a ride of a substantial length you need another propulsion method.

You could also build Japanese style and have a bunch of little hills and elements 100ft in the air.

I love asians.

Started handbuilding a really small layout, and realized that I could do it with elementry so I'm going to. And the layout should be done tonight that gives me sometime to do supports...which is my weakness.

My ride doesn't crawl in to much, just use some cool lift wheel on the end to make sure it makes it all the times. I've been able to shot a screen in the sims(the sim keeps crashing all the time).

I love the 4th inversion [:D]
