OK, I've watched this a while going on - and downhill, sadly.

Gazag was suggested to work in tandem, to get some help, ect. But getting help actually has to do with one's willingness to be helped and so far he has displayed ...none of it (screens and posts getting deleted, no answers given). Now combine that with the countless typos, giving the contest a rather unprofessional appearance and so on...

At the moment, i dont see any use of continuing this contest, with this person in charge. I would like to continue this contest, but only if i see some appropiate solution for the obvious problems with the referee ASAP.

ASAP means saturday afternoon, which is when I'll leave my comp for a few days. Before that, I'm gonna post whether I'll quit or not.

I have nothing to defend, because in case you haven't noticed, most of us have moved on and realized it is just a game. Jeesh brother, relax. That's not the way to live life, bashing people on ways they judge, or opinions they have...

Hansixxx, gazag has not been running the contest the best, but if you had any heart at all you'd stop railing on him for the typos. Did ya miss the fact that he has dyslexia? Apparently. Now if you didn't know it, now's the time to stop, because he can't help his typos.

Gazag has been here for long enough to know how a contest should be run. He failed to comply to it and, in all honestly, has made a travesty of this contest.

you know what's ironic about the lack of ratings? The very first match-up contest had no ratings whatsoever. WWS just posted the decisions, and back then nobody complained.

And everyone is complaining nowadays.

There's no reason for you guys to rip on Hansixx either...last time I checked people are allowed to be honest. Besides, being honest is the only way ANYTHING will get done. Arguing over that just makes everything so much more worse.

No, Hansixx was ripped, along with other "protesters," for just being a little honest. We don't want to see the "holy grail" of NL tournaments end in a disaster.

At least we have 1 happy member.

Why hasn't this topic been locked yet? At least a total of 3 people have been strongly affected or hurt by this topic, and it seems that it will only get worse.

Hansixx is right, something does need to be done about this contest.
The reason for people contesting you Gazag is because:
- you haven't provided them with even a brief rate.
- your rules were not clear from the start and thats why people found loop-holes which has lead to uproar.

You need to use your brain a bit more and think about the situation. This contest as I understand it is a central part of this site every year. You are directly responsible for witholding WWS.com's integrity and you are the face of the website during this competition. Last year's contest was of a very high standard (except long rates) and you need to mirror it.

So far all I see is:
-poor template
-unclear rules
-bending rules as you go along
-lack of rates (you set yourself two weeks, use it!)
-lack of authority within the forum

You seriously need to rethink about whether you can cope with this contest on your own. I don't think you can and i am not trying to have a go at you or be nasty. A dose of reality is never a bad thing.

Make that 2 if only ckmwm would grow up and stop being a chuffing idiot! He is just jealous and angry at cjd for being smarter than he was by finding a loophole. I still don't see a legit reason for him to be griping so much; he made it for one, and two he better loose a couple of balls before they explode with envy!

rejected, i never rejected help. coolbeans is helping from now on and dcs offered but never contacted me. as i said from now it will be diffrent.

but the way this is going if people pkeep on i will step down from this site and leave. its really starting to wear me down and ive had enough of it and if nobody wants me about ill just go. i have been here along time and over the past 2 years this site has gotten worse and worse throught the complaining and bad things happening. i know this site really promotes fredom of mind but its getting out of hand.

I understand the fact that people are being true, Keegan, the fact is that for sure some people are being impacted by the arguments here...maybe you know it as "flaming" but I don't see the bashing ceasing any time soon. It just is a surprise someone hasn't noticed what's going on and how some members are being treated fairly.

See what's happened? Why is it that people can't see when they're really hurting someone! This is not just a discussion. These are real people that talk on here and if you decide to rail on them for things they can't help and other people for trying to give help than you clearly are hurting people!

acctually I am wondering now how did you do the tunnle test if in the new version of NL we have that crappy tunnle thats not good for tunnle testing

The thing about CJ's re-entry is that not everybody was given that chance. Many people uploaded to the exchange, therefore there was no problem with there entries.
