That's rediculous man. Don't drop out just because of who you were paired with. You guys can work out a system where each other can use their best abilities and collaborate. It's all fun and games, right?

I'm sorry about his comments coreyml

Come'on jak, face it you would also freak out if you were paired in this way with someone who in first had a way to low score to go trough. But well, you have nothing to complain about, your paired with one of the better builders.

Because his track was at LEAST completely on par with CJD's entry, and even fitted into the requested guidelines. Pretty weird to be jealous at that. It is not your fault that you made it CJD

Be careful when criticizing his rides, he tends to report people to staff when they go against his ego.

BTW Rct3-Crazy you're still an inconsiderate loser for quitting on account of your partner. In all fairness, you ain't so hot either.

round 2 will be starting sunday

i dont see why you are complaining rct3-crazy. the draw was done fairly and all you can do is give it a go and try to get to round 3. you may be surpried and come through with a really really good track. just to drop out cuz you arent paired with one of the recognised designeds is in my mind very imature of you.

this means in the end your smart arse aproch ragen makes you the next contestent

What ever, bring it on, I will make it to round 2. But well, since I'm out now according to you I can't go trough to round 3.

If possible, forgive my immature me and let me make an excuse by working to gether with coreyml and making it to round 2.

Gazag, you're a nice guys, but you really sucks at this contest. At least the one round.

Having that said, CoasterStreak & Me are not going to moan, but get our heads together and throw up a decent B&M Launcher

cjd, please understand that me quitting has nothing to do with you. It has to do with gazag only.
There's one thing I can't stand and that's judges that bend their own rules. When I saw that ragan got thrown out allthough he had a legit track and at the same time read that gazag let a couple of otherwise DQed tracks slip through, my decision was set.
You geting through with your second submission (allthough that was clearly not allowed according to the rules - yes, it's in the rules) is only one little part of it. If I had the problem of high lats, I probably would have done the same as you, I can't hold that against you. But if the judge wants to keep any credibility (of the little that's left) he should have DQed you. He then could have filled up to 32 and maybe let you through again, but only after all legit tracks are through - and that includes ragans masterpiece.
Gazag wrote: "No one likes a smart ass". Well, I'd hope to never see a sentence like that from a judge again.
Gazag, YOU may not like it, but please don't speak for everyone. I for one applaud ragan for this ingenius approach. He found an easy way to follow every single rule. If you don't like that, then you should put more effort into your rules. Don't blame others for your very own shortcomings - like you also did when you threatened to throw people out because YOU lost their tracks.
Numerous people offered you help and you got constructive criticism over and over. You decided to not listen.
Why do you say that rating will take 2 weeks and then decide to make a lazy job and give minimal feedback to those that were DQed and those that you just decided to throw out and NONE to those that came through? Why don't you use those two weeks you have and at least TRY to make a good job? And please don't cover behind your dyslexia all the time, the wrong spelling is only a small thing (where spellcheckers would help), but the other issues have way more weight.

So there you have it.

sorry but i dont see there to be problems with the tracks i put throught, i did state from the start that the first round would be minimal feed back.

"Numerous people offered you help and you got constructive criticism over and over. You decided to not listen." 1 person did that and failed to get in contact

"And please don't cover behind your dyslexia all the time, the wrong spelling is only a small thing" ive only ever apologiesed for my misspellings, never acctually used it to cover up anything else

and as for the rest of what you said i accept reponcibility and deeply appologise and hope in some way you can forgive me. im still on a learing curve with the contest and the first round was a rushed thing as there was a big need for this to come back quickly and i appologise for that. i deeply appologise to ragen for what i did and what i said. i hope he can especially appologise for what i did.

1 other thing is either we can continue to round 2 or if you all like i would be willing to start over if you all can forgive me. round one will be the first round and you would all still be in pairs but we shall start over if you all wish to.

please everyone forgive me for being a total nob. i just hope you all hav it in your hearts to do so.

Woah, woah... my ratings have nothing whatsoever to do with the actual contest. I'm giving them out as a 3rd party reaching out to ease the tension a bit. gazag's decisions are still the ones that matter.

Damn everyone, this is getting way to rediculous. Its not cool to bash on anyone. Most all of us dont even know eachother in person, so its pathetic to see everyone ripping apart everyone else by posting shiz on the forums. I remember last year everyone bitching like crazy because cjd took like 5 weeks to rate each coaster, and now its completely flipped around. Its a website where we upload coasters, not where we attempt to gain some sort of superiority over other people. I might agree with alot of the problems that have pointed out in this round, but there is no way in hell i would support how people are going about pointing those problems out. Seriously, stop bashing everyone. Its so pointless and pathetic for the setting we are in.

Why doesnt everyone just get excited for the next round? The staff now knows the problems in this competition and will provide help to have a smoother second round. I just really find it pathetic to bash on someone you dont even know.

Gazag, I don't know if anyone else agrees with me, but it's a pretty good idea to restart the entire contest.

Oh, and by the way, you can thank coasterkid for my title everyone.

2nd on the starting again idea. With people going through and all the confusion it would be a great idea. Not because I didn't get through either.

Don't restart the contest, but i think it would be a great idea for Gazag to get somebody else to assist him, and then redo the ratings, and maybe start round 2 next week.

Re-doing the ratings is a much better idea than restarting the contest. Even if it was just a paragraph or so, it would be great to see a rate for each ride, not just the eliminated ones.
