New intamin mega coaster!

I'm working on a new intamin coaster, that features high speed, loads of airtime and one inversion! I'll try to make as many custom supports as possible. Here's the link: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p3328. I need a theme, a name, a cartexture and some nice 3ds, so I'd be very happy, if someone would like to help me with those things.[:)]

Well, the link isn't working for me, but I love giving names, so once I can view those pics, I'd love to throw some of my better ideas at you! I'm new to cartextures, but I can easily whip up some decently nice ones. I can tell you now it's not everyday someone will lend help with 3Ds, but who knows, maybe times have changed.

Looks interesting, especially with the inclusion of an inversion on a giga. One thing I would point out while looking at your first few screens is to maybe look at a few more pictures of Intamin style support work to make yours a bit more realistic. It's great to see you putting custom supports on, but don't overdo the lattice, and don't connect the lattice directly to the track braces. This is the first picture I found which illustrates what I'm talking about: http://rcdb.com/ig594.htm?picture=18 . See how the tube under the rail has the single, short, vertical tube that holds up the actual track? Something like that would just look/work nicer. Other than that, I'd say you're off to a good start!

edit: well, I'm not one to be talking about colors, but often these sorts of rides look nice when you combine a steel-like color with a sort of dark hue, such as a blue or maroon or forest green. Maybe try something along those lines?

^Kevin has an excellent point, you should take his advice on the scaffolding support techniques.

Thats all for now. If you don't like any of those, I can easily think up a few new ones.

Anyway, if you'd like me to, I could create a cartex for ya! It might take a while because I have tons on my shoulders this week (new term, new homework, new stuff!) but I'd be more than happy to help with that.

You're leaving a few things out for Zan and I. We need to know what name you've chosen for the track (for the cartex) and you need to appoint one of us for the Cartex (we both volunteered) or we could both do it and you could choose the best, but either way, we need the name you've chosen.

Well, i like the Power gravity machine the most! And i think, that you gerstlcrazy should do the cartex, and zan the 3ds! If you are still interested.

Hm... I see, what i did wrong, but I don't have the time and the patiency to start the supports all over again, so I'm going to try toimprove them, without taking them down! Oh and can someone please explain to me, what lattice is?

P.S. If you two (gerstlcrazy & Sobek) want, you can have a cartex designer competition.
