I think CF is just cleaning up GL because Six Flags just dumped coasters everywhere like they did in MM. A park as small as GL and so close to the theme park capital of the world (CP) really shouldent be that flashy as Geauga was before.

But I beleive they cant and wont use that land for the expansion of the park in a way youd assume.

Also, I would argue, though I havent been on Kraken, that Dominator is a better ride. Kraken seems to have the fun, yet typical flow that all B&M's have. Plus the ending on Kraken is really really lame. There is not a single dull moment on Dominator and even that "lull" into the brakes, in front seat, is some wicked blast of airtime. I have yet to ride or see a floorless that IMO has the same intensity as that ride. It does lack in pure elements but it makes it back in speed and power. that and its cobra roll is funky and lots better than any other ones.

Oh man, don't say Krakens' ending is lame unless you've actually been on it...Looks can be decieving, it is such an amazing ride. The zero g is one of the best, and a great first drop by the water. Speedy and thrilling all the way through, and the drop off the MCBR is awesome, leading into the finale. Loved it so much, rerode it 10 or 11 times when i was there! I haven't been on Dominator, so i'm not gonna compare, but Kraken's definately worth going out of your way, you'll get to hit one hell of a ride! and plus, there's Journey to Atlantis [;)]

You didnt tell me why the ending is so lame. Ive heard so-so reports of the hill before the cork as being...rather tame and then right after that cool cork it is lame. I dont care if Ive ridden it or not, I have enough rides on other rides + knowing how to guage G's on a ride to know that right after that cork its just one drawn out track to the brakes.

Thats all I was saying. From MCB to Loop and then the cork are SWEET. I would say that yes, the Zero G is sweet but Im fairly convinced that all B&M Zero G's (minus Deamon) are pretty much the same. The other 80% of Kraken is great I am sure!

Yeah Dominator's turn after the loop is a lot of fun, plus it has the standout cobra that's much better than Medusa's in pacing and forces. The drop off the MCBR has a pop of air (though not as much as I expected, even back row) and the first drop also has a pop of air if you sit on the right side of the back row. Add that to the steepness of the first drop, the floater air on the first loop, the intensity of the corks (not much better than Medusa's or BDK's-the other 2 floorlesses I've been on- but definately a little different in style, and slightly more effective IMO) then the unusual ending, and you've got a very good ride.

I've been on Medusa probably 80 times, and I know Medusa's very similar to Kraken, minus the first drop. While Medusa is fun, it's not very thrilling. Dominator's not the most thrilling ride ever, but I think it's much more exciting than Medusa, and most likely, Kraken.

Real, I'd include Kumba's roll as being on the different list, mostly because it seems much more intense than the rest. I assume you were just speaking of Sitdown, but Inverts give a pretty different feel, especially something like Raptor which has a 0-g that's likely more similar to Kumba than Medusa or Kraken.

Aw man, where's the love for SKC? It's the only B&M coaster that does helixes ontop of cliffs, only to dive down 100 feet afterwords. The first drop is pretty unique, too!

Dominator is pretty unique too though, while the first half of Kraken is pretty much the same as Medusa (east and west), Scream, and even Kumba, when it comes to element order. I just wish Dominator had a 0g roll.

Kraken's end is a very mediocre part of the ride, and they could have done SOO much more with it, imo, but they didn't.

But with that said it is still a decent finish for what is one of my favorite rides.

The MCBR after the Cobra roll/turn around combo comes in just in time to give you some relief. Then that loop after the mcbr is simply insane. Your legs tingle the whole way through. That hill is lame, the tunnel is simply one of the best ever, the turn into the corkscrew is exciting as well as the corkscrew. That prolonged little thing into the brake run is pretty stupid though.

Overall its decent enough, I guess.
