Yes, I did the experiment. And after about 15 seconds I did start to feel the effects, started breathing harder, increased heartbeat, etc. After 30 seconds I felt slightly light-headed, after a minute I had to quit because I was getting a headache. To be honest, that didn't prove much to me. My duration is only three seconds... and right afterward, the train hits 4.5 g's at the bottom of the pullout, so all the blood that raced to the head would go right back. So, if I reduced the duration to 2 seconds or so, would that make it feasible in your opinion?

Lots of coasters hang people upside-down, after all. Screamin Squirrel, Viper @ SFGA, Manhattan Express, the Ring of Fire at the fair... and what about Chaos at Cedar Point? That has some nasty negative g's...

By the way, yes I know the castle "theme" has been done before, but this one I believe will reinvent it. My aim is to really make it feel like riding a mouse as it darts around a castle. So there will be random vertical drops through the floor, outside banking, fast turns through cracks in the wall, etc. And there will be different "scenes", such as a cathedral and a dungeon. This ride is a combination of two ideas... one idea was to build a really original coaster with lots of original elements, the other was to build an intricate 3ds castle as preparation for rendering the city of Catia from my novel "The Second World" Add that on to the crazy inverted elements I've mentioned already, and I think that entitles me to a claim at being an original coaster.

Since you're not going to listen to anyone, I hope you have fun uploading the coaster as realistic and then getting absolutely slammed in ratings. I bet the staff will absolutely LOVE putting up with you complaining about the "mean" ratings you get that are infact accurate since in the past you whined about people criticizing your rides.

Didn't say it wasn't an original coaster, it's overall relatively original since though people have had some of the ideas, they've rarely been done decently on a NL ride.

I've been on Viper at GAdv like 8-10 times. It hangs riders upside down for like .3-.5 seconds, not a good example. Manhattan Express is slightly longer at maybe -.9 g's, still not that significant in length. Screamin' Squirrel is the only real comparison, and that's a constant ~ -1 g force for I'm guessing like 4 seconds, which I'm sure is already very intense to most people. I just don't think it's gonna work at all.

Mouses? The correct term would be "meece." Ugh, some people...

Coasterkid, no offense, but shut the f*ck up. Your comment has no credibility whatsoever. I just went back and looked at every single rating that I have ever challenged.

Now, back when I was a new member, when I was 17, I admit it... I was a jerk. That was back in the days of "Apocalypse" and "The Rockler", when I was indeed noted for being the biggest hype-er on the site. That was four years ago. the original "Thrasher" was the last time that I ever complained about having a low rating. May 2003. I did contest another rating, in fall 2004, but that was because the person rated it without even downloading the track, and he admitted it, so that hardly counts. That was my last contested rating aside from the blatant personal attack that you posted on my last coaster where you called me an arrogant jerk and spent the whole rating attacking me personally. And you didn't even post numbers in that rating, so you can't exactly call that whining. Examining the evidence, it seems like nobody has a problem with me except for you.

And it's soooo obvious that I'm refusing to accept help and being a jerk in this topic... that's why I have changed the shaping of the filp-over element four times already... it's sooo obvious that I think I'm right and everyone else is wrong. I obviously don't value their opinions whatsoever, and that's why I'm saying "you can all go to hell. I'm keeping it the way it was."

One final edit:

The drop has been modified. It now has g's of -1.4 for only a brief second, then the sustained g's are only -1.2 for the last second of the element. It doesn't roll over the complete 180 degrees any more, only going up to 153, but I will be employing some 3ds trickery that will make it look like it rolled over the full 180. I think that should be a legitimate solution... long live the flip-over!

^I'm not planning on making it a fantasy coaster. If I do make it fantasy, I want it to be because of economic feasibility, not g-forces.

By the way, here is some very early work on the 3ds spiral lift. The track wraps up the tower, using the stairs as supports. This is the core of it. An exterior shell, with windows and lighting effects, and some decorative castle parts on top will be soon to follow.
