American Dreamland- custom park

I finally re-installed my RCT2 and decided to start a new park.

AMERICAN DREAMLAND. A custom 160X160 park that will test myself. THe only prefabbed scenery i'll be using is the urban theming. The rest of it will be all building blocks and other numerous scenery items. Now, i havent used RCT2 in over a year so we'll see just how good it turns out. THere will probably be several versions as my skills get better over the time.

The park itself will have many themed areas hitting the greatest parts of the United States including:

New Orleans
The upper west Wilderness
Down Home County Fair
The Appellation Mountains
Hollywood
***CHANGE*** California Boardwalk

Just some notes:
-i am going to re-do the shops, cause they suck right now
-peep friendly tunnels will be added upon park completion
-supports on Tamahawk (woodie) are not finished (nor is the station)
-vertical velocity still under construction for scenery
-V2 side still under construction
-employees foot paths are not finalized

Update 2/16

Vertical Velocity construction update, still not done


New construction of Main St. This is "Trudie's Ice Cream Parlor". When completed will have a total of 8 shops (first 4 footers installed)


Ok heres the main part of the update, "Down Home County Fair" section of the park 50% completed (based off of the Wilmot County Fair near my hometown)








Park Overview

I am a big rct2 fan but if I can make a suggestion, please name the Impulse anything but V2. Why?, V2 is not an original name and there are already 2 in this world. However, thats just my personal opinion. Its a great park so far! I cannot wait to download it!

^Yeah the reason i named it Vertical Velocity is cause i'm from Gurnee Illinois and Six Flags Great America which has V2. I love the ride and the name sounds good to me. I might change it later one, but its there for now. And thanks, i'm really proud of this park so far!

UPDATE! 3/2/09

-Down Home County Fair 90% completed!
-Brand new "Great Outdoors" section of the park
--with custom stand up twister "Great Bear" and other fun rides
-a few more shops on main st.
-random trinkets and toys around the park

It's not bad for your first shot. I think you can get a lot more complex with your theming though. Check out spotlight parks from around the web and you'll know what I mean.
