Rockin' Space Mountain

Yes, you are reading that title right, currently Space Mountain at Disneyland SoCal is in "rockin'" mode. What does this mean you ask? It means that instead of being in space your in a big room with neon lights (think Rockin' Rollercoaster at Disney's MGM studios in Orlando). So, you can see the track...and where your going...and the lack of supports. I say lack of supports because I had always assumed that Space mountain had gobs of cruddy little supports but I turned out to be wrong. It's definitely an interesting experience as instead of the basic "space-y" music you are treated to music from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It is a neat little change (its only going to be that way until the 26th of April) but I prefer the basic space theme.

You are kindof late with this news, Rockin' Space Mountain and California Screaming has been going on for about a month or so.

Yeah pretty delayed with this.

First time I heard about it. Would like to see pictures of the supports.

Personally it sounds cool.

Yep, I know that, i have "inside info"[:D] I just never got around to going until a couple of days ago

i was in line for space mountain when it broke down.the lights were on and it looked like the thing was held up by play-ground equipment.
