Yeah, I always like to see backrow pov's too and this was a pretty good one. Thanks for sharing.

The ride itself looked very nice like always, but I still say pacing lacks ever so slightly, unlike SROS SFNE.

I've been on EGF and SROS SFNE and I must say that I much prefer EGF. Video does not do it justice, trust me.

While totally different in layout, EGF and SROS SFNE each hold their own against each other. Each has strengths and weaknesses, and the pretty much cancel each other out and end up in a tie. That is, until you factor in EGF's first drop. OMFG, that drop is just the most wicked, mind-blowing, perfectly engineered piece of track on earth. From the back seat, it's insane, but perfectly smooth (unlike PepsiMax Big One).

My body isn't a temple. It's an amusement park.

Yeah ofcourse EGF's first drop owns SROS'. However, SROS has a longer layout, more spots of airtime, faster pacing, plus almost all drops go to the ground (and under, ofcourse), whereas EGF only has a few that go to the ground. It has 2 tunnels, longer trains, the view of the river (but less trees than EGF), 1 less trim, and more height.

Max and average negative g's are probably around the same on both rides, so that's not really a factor. I'd guess EGF has stronger positives on most pullouts, so that's a plus for it. EGF also has a less predictable layout with it's increased number of turns and tree coverage, but most of it's turns are slowly paced compared to SROS' turns.

Don't get me wrong, I think they're both very close and in the top 3-5 rides in the world, it's just that despite what many people say, IMO there's no way EGF can be better than SROS.

I really love EGF, only i don't really like the trims in the ride. Frontseat you don't notice a clue that you actually slow down and in the back the effect is much better to feel. For example, the airtime hill with the trim just before the final 2 hills. If you just are catching air, it suddenly slows down and then air is gone. Too bad since my experience from 3 years ago wasn't that bad. Remove those trims! lol!

This POV seemed a little slower than the TPR ones and the CoasterForce one.

Awesome POV, I love back seat vids! But I agree with Dcs here, I think the pacing lacks a bit during most of the ride, but whatever, still looks crazy anyways[^]

Maybe because EGF was broken the previous day, Or maybe it was because of my wide angle lens which make stuff look different and slower... [:D]

The seemingly slower pacing looked to be timing too, not just appearance.
