First of al, some of ya'll have to get out to Albuquerque and ride this monster.

The ride was just insane. I've watched videos on the ride and know that it's only 80 feet tall, so I thought it was going to be a fun little ride. Boy was I wrong. Firstly, the ride flies through the entire course! There's no sign of reduced speed until the brakes act on the train. As a result, there are sick laterals and ejector airtime all over the place. It was so surprising, I want to name um':

Ejector on the drop- back seat
Ejector on first hill- front seat
Ejector on hill out of turnaround- back seat
Ejector on curved hill below drop- back seat
Ejector on following hill by the station- every seat
Ejector (thought weaker) on the last two bunny hills- every seat

As you can see, the back was the place to ride. I got two front row rides and 3 in the very back. Also, by Alvey's POV, I was expecting the ride to be very smooth. Uh uh- it's a true wooden coaster, and I have a nice little bruise to prove it.

Anyways, I loved the ride very much, and it's tied with SROS for my number one coaster, honestly.

(Sorry that are no trains in the pics, the ride was having tech difficulties after my 5th ride)

Aren't you making one for NL?

Great photos though. How about some POVs?

Sorry, it's against park rules to take a camera on the ride.

And yes, now that I have ridden the ride, I can spend some time tweaking my NL creation to make it as close to the real ride as possible. I might have to use less cars to represent the fast pace the real ride has.

The number of cars doesn't play into friction much with the 1.6 update. At least that's what I remember someone saying.

^ I may use the old 1.55 pacing with less cars to get the pacing as close as I can...I'll see once I get back to San Antonio tomorrow evening. For now, I'll be begging my parents for one last ride before I leave.

AWesome, you went! NMR looks so damn good. I am having a real hard time deciding whether to goto Lagoon or Cliffs this year (if I can..)!

Did you notice how much of it got re-tracked?

The only noticable section was the drop and the hill right under. The rest of the ride was rough and the wood was pretty dark (not "fresh"). I took some close ups that I will post later, in which you can see how it's aging. It's a true wooden coaster!

I would say Cliffs because the Rattler is amazing, but Lagoon has many more coasters.

What kind of roughness? I assume by how good the ride is that the park takes good care of the ride.

Duude, you're so freakin lucky! I'm not gonna get to ride it for a looong time, if ever. But it looks so sweet! Oh well, for now, CP will do [:D]

Sounds really cool man, get some more pics up if you can!

I live thirty miles from cliffs i know how insane this ride is. But i wish cliffs would get some more coasters.
Trim breaks are your enemy, retracking/smoothing is your friend. I miss b&m floored sit downs. coaster count=39

The pacing isn't that insane, it'll work fine with 6 cars 1.6 friction.

1.6 pacing with 6 cars is currently way too slow. I do have some errors in height, but my initial drop is exactly 75 feet tall. Like I said, I will have to play with it when I get back home tomorrow. I'll get some more pics up in a bit.

I went on a coaster trip a couple years ago, to something like 20 parks all out west (from British Columbia Canada all the way down to Arizona/New Mexico), and one of my most anticipated parks to go to was Cliff's, but it was closed when I got there. Oh well, at least I got to experience Tremors and Timber Terror.

Thanks for the pics!

Just a few more pics here...The rest aren't too good but will get up when I get back.

Smer, the photos make the ride appear "fresh", but when you look back going up the lift, the ride looks very intimidating with it's older appearance.

Smer, the wood was pretty much the same color as the turn in there throughout most of the ride...I loved it.
