Wow, if they keep that heartline roll there, it's going to be tight when you come out of it, and look straight up at another train coming down the first drop. The pacing on this ride is looking to be great, I'm just really hoping they don't get rid of the roll.

Man, I can't get over how amazing every part of it looks. Makes me sad I'm missing it by a week or two. But man, the exit from the launch looks to be freaking crazy!! If they extend the roll then the ride would almost be perfect. Duuuude, it looks so awesome[:D]

GASP! It is so fast paced! It looks amazing. Coming out of the roll, it seems like if you were on the ride that you wouldn't have an idea of what was going on because of the speed..

I dunno, maybe they're just making sure they messed up on the roll instead of having new parts delivered for no reason [;)]

Check it out, there's that surprise that Tony and Tyler mentioned in the CP blog. Looks like some tunnel theming!

They look like train X-ings... maybe that is what the "honk" sound is in the tunnel. A Train?

I agree with Kyle... the way the lift hill speeds up is awesome! It's really going to be exciting once you enter the lift and practically get launched up there.

I'm willing to bet that there is just a right to left transiton there! (ex: 80* to -80*) I always had worries about that dog darn roll...

I read somehwere that they're getting new track, so I bet there's a change. There's not much room to extend the roll there...they're modifying 3 track peices, not the entire section.

Wow, I called it pretty accurately.

Maverick is just an average ride now. Now Boardwalk Bullet definitely has a great shot at No. 1 fo' 07.

There's no way I would call it an average ride now. It still has a 95 degree drop, those wicked fast transitions in the canyons, some ejector air (by the looks of it), a 70 mph launch in a dark tunnel, stengal dives and some nice air after. It still looks awesome, but I dunno...The roll really made it look special :(

So, does this mean they won't trim the train coming out of the tunnel?

It's still better than average, and probably still the best ride.

Boardwalk Bullet looks great, but the layout is too repetitive for it to be crazy awesome imo.

That's pretty disappointing. Maverick should still be a great ride, but that heartline roll really made it stand out IMO.

Since when did Cedar Point build rides? This was built by Inta-ride. If anyone is to blame it is them.

Lawl.

Intamin is hardly to blame. Parks call all the shots, and the coaster manufacturer's build whatever the park wants. If Cedar Point said "Let's rebuild the entire ride from the heartline roll on.", then Intamin would do that. This decision is entirely Cedar Fair's.

And for those thinking that a change that effects ONE SECOND OF THE RIDE will change this from a great coaster to an average ride, that's just hilarious. I mean, you change two more seconds and people will say it's the worst coaster at CP.
