Stop Canada's Annual Seal Hunt!

As some of you may know, Canada every year has a big seal hunt. This is the killing of multiple seals in the harbors of which they live. I have two videos I think you should watch, but these videos are graphic. I want this act to stop, many of seals are dying. Also you should sign this petition at http://www.protectseals.org

I'm not all environmentalist, but that is cruel.

My opinion is this, if you are gonna eat the animal, go ahead and kill it. Ill throw a chicken in a deep fryer if I am hungry, I have never had seal, but if it tastes anywhere near as good as chicken Ill bash me up a big one and throw er' on the girll. Killing seals just for fun is pretty crazy, but meat is food.

EDIT: Also, it is law in Newfoundland that you are not to use a club, but you are to shoot the seal if you will kill it, so I will pack a 12 gauge to see if seals taste good next time I go to the rock.

yep... it's just that the BIASED media wont report on it, they only talk about civilian abuse, car bombs and dumb stuff like that, or depending on which BIASED source you choose how wonderful things are going over there.. ..

realistically, there's probabaly more of them around than the rest of the food chain can take care of on its own... yeah, the videos are gross, but thats where stuff comes from.. (wonders to self where a seal steak can be purchased, wouldn't want good meat to go to waste.. hey i know we can use the seal carcasses to feed all the polar bears that are dying of starvation because of global warming.. )i know people think im a tree hugger, but i think fur is sexy, but it doesn't turn me on when it's on seals, you gotta get it off of them somehow, and you don't want to poke holes in the good parts with bullets or something.. dragonfly, a 12 guage will ruin the good parts.. i'd sugest a 22 small game rifle, or an ar-15 if you can get one.. leaves a nice small hole,

I just don't understand how people think it's different for us to do that than a seal's predator. In fact, their predators probably do more damage and cause more pain.

You have got to be kidding me? Come out the cave! Jayman, I too am interested in a seal steak right about now... you know, they could bring them back and feed them to the people in missions. It would help reduce state and fed costs by a good amount.

Vegetarians and Environmentalists actually entertain me quite a bit. Maybe I should become a Beefatarian. We're killing trees. So what, you're killing fruits and vegetables Killing animals is a part of the Circle of Life. How was I doing anything wrong... He never stated that in his post. And I wasn't being rude. But, whatever, think what you want. I have problems against PeTA because they KILL more animals than they save.

And personally, I think it's sadder that people only care because the animals are cute. If people were mass killing bats or something, nobody would care. And that's just as disgusting as people doing that to seals.

Has anyone here ever tried at bringing down the quotes to a minimal of what you're actually quoting? The past three quotes were centered on the very last sentece, yet somehow the whole thing got stuck in there. We don't need to see everything over again. Just what you're quoting.
