I'm having serious problems when tunnel testing, about 20 hits. Most of them are 2 tunnels touching each other. I have to try something, but I have changed the layout like 5 times already.

Tunnel to tunnel collisions dont really count if they are segments from the same block...

EDIT:

Wow, mine is really coming along. Now that I remembered that we're for sure using 1.55 Steel Tunnels for judgement, I now have 0 tunnel test issues. But, I have not added supportage yet. My G's in the front, 3rd car, and last (6th) are within limits, one more to check off my list. MY biggest issue is supports. I don't really know how to custom support a wooden coaster 0.0

ALSO I don't know if this has been asked yet, but:

Q: Which seat/seats will the G-Forces be monitered from?
X2 ??? Intimidator 305 ??? Millennium Force ??? Iron Rattler ??? El Toro ??? Fury 325 ??? Maverick ??? Skyrush ??? Twisted Timbers ??? Voyage

You open the 1.55 sim and ride your coaster with all tunnels on.

I'm just using the the 1.6 steel tunnels. I figure if it passes there, it will pass the older ones. Granted, I'm not paying attention to the sides, just the top. I figure if it doesn't come in past the rail, I'm good.

I usually would, but for such tight spaces, it's better to use the steel since the wooden tunnels are a little taller than they need to be.

So Hyyyper if you didn't see my question earlier:
Q: What seat/seats will the G forces be measured from?

If you got it, then sorry for the double mention.

i'd make sure you have a margin, but if you want to know, front, middle and back seats

It shouldn't matter what seat it's measured from.

Agreed. If it exceeds the limits, then it doesn't matter what seat exceeds them... the same amount of tech points should be deducted no matter where on the train the excessive gs are experienced.

I understand and knew that, but you really can't judge each seat. Oh well, it doesn't make a diffrence to me, all of my g-forces are in check.

My ride is pretty much done. I just need to touch up on the lateral bracing in the helix (far right on the picture).

Woah! That looks awesome man.

I think I might have to drop out. Aside from all the trouble I'm having with it, I'm not gonna have much time until June 10th-ish. I still might finish something and submit it, but just a heads up incase.

Looks great!

Isn't the helix on the distant left on the pic though? Either way, there's at least one other place you have to custom support, since one of those turns that wraps around the first drop doesn't have supports on one side, and that one turn (or helix) in the background on the left doesn't have supports on both sides of the track.

^The inner most part of the helix has supports. It's just the outer area that needs them.
And that turn does need supports, but I have to find a realistic way of fitting them in.

All you have to do is this:

Have the extended support go straight through the outside handrail of the track below it, and as long as the track below it (including supports) is within the template, the extended supports will also be.

I'm finished. I've done all the lateral bracing that it needs. And I've added some scenery, but not much, I still need to practice with 3DS before I make good ones.

Anyways, I'll be uploading it to the exchange soon, so get ready!
