You think I am crazy? No, I am not right now as you read this I am using my Wiimote as a gyro-mouse! I do not have a Wii or sensor bar. All I did was make a basic circuit that runs four IR leds. Since the Wiimote is Bluetooth and only receives and sends information relative to the IR leds, with a basic scripting program such as GlovePIE I can make it work as a mouse! Pictures and a video to come soon. If you do not believe me there are still many videos on Youtube of this hack in progress!

you can make you own sensor bar of you have 2 UV lights ,the wii mote will pick them up as a sensor bar and with other wiimote abusing software you can point at you screen.

Thats all good and everything, but what's the point? Using a mouse sure beats standing around with a Wii Remote pointing aimlessly at a computer monitor

Well with GlovePIE you can enable a wiimote to do anything you want. You can make it a virtual DJ, Drum kit, guitar, light saber, etc... Also if you are nerdy enough you can make your own script and make it do whatever.

you can use it to play games. there are videos on youtube of people playing Half-Life2 with it, which is loads better than Red Steel.

I really wanna try this now. I've heard you can just use a bluetooth adapter?
