I've just started construction on my latest project, Atlantica, an lsm launch coaster based off of Europa Park's new coaster Blue Fire, a great new coaster creation.

If anyone's interested, I'm gonna want a cool station for this track, and I'll give full credit and a sneak peak for it. It has, obviously, an Atlantis/ water theme, and has a similar blue color to Blue Fire.
If you're interested in making me one, or just interested in the ride, post below!

Well, heres a pic, its not much but I like how the shaping turned out. That 1st "tophat" is 150 ft tall.

That seems a bit too much like blue fire. Maybe you should make it bank the opposite way on the way down and do a low turn behind it. That would be awsome.

Well i want to keep part of it consistant with blue fire, I'm having that, the loop and the rest will be in the style of it but original.

I could build the station for you. To be fairly honest, "Atlantica" isn't that original. One peice of advice before sending me the ride to make the station is come up with another theme (Unless you heart is truly set on this theme, in which case I will still make the station for you). It WILL be made out of supports.

Yea. Remember, if your ride isnt 100% original from name to color scheme to the exact banking degree of your first turn compared to some random turn on another ride not even remotely similar to yours, its not original!

/end sarcasm

once again, as ive said with many of my other coasters, the name isnt the biggest deal. I just think the coaster looks the best in this color, but if anyone else has differnet color scheme and/or name ideas, tell me!

Musicmonkey, I think the name and colors are fine! If you DO wanna match Blue Fire as accurately as possible, maybe lighten the blue a little bit.

As far as I can see, Turbo is the only one that seems to have any problems with what you've come up with...Frankly, your project hasn't expanded enough for any true problems to have occurred and I think Turbo is just being too nitpicky. So get some more work done, take some pics, and I'd say leave the colors and name. I'd be glad to test if you want help later on as well.

And if you change colors, don't take Turbo's suggestion; I don't think it fits the scenario at all. The name is even less original [lol]

I wouldn't pick it. that's all that I'm saying. I have no problems with the track at all though.

The name that I said... eh, I came up with it in like 5 seconds. don't take that suggestion... ANYONE! lol

But my offer is still standing, I will test for you and I will make you a station out of supports as well if you want it.

Again (similar problem on your S&S compressed launch), you need to lose some banking to reduce lats.

ouchy, lats...........
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

You should get them as close to zero as you can preferably. Especially on a valley, it's prime to get them minimal, and that banking is definitely going to give you crazy lats; if it does have the speed I'm assuming it does by the looks of the hill it must execute next.
