This is weird.

I bought a few new CDs from iTunes a good month ago. But about a week or two ago, they stopped.

When I decided to listen to one of the songs/CDs, it would just skip it. No sound bit, nothing. It would just go 1..2..3.. and so on. Like it scrolled through the list.

And on iTunes they won't play. They'll just say something about authorizing my computer to play them. And I say yes but they still won't play.

I've already e-mailed when it started... but, no response.

Does anyone have any advice?

Dont worry about it. download LIMEWIRE.
www.LIMEWIRE.com

all your cds and songs you could imagine are right there-FREE.
you just have to transfer the music storage link to
C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Music\iTunes
unless your not allowed.. you can get in trouble for it only on college internet.

And of course, you get a bunch of viruses along with it. Limewire is the only reason my old computer totally crashed.

Just one more reason for me not to get my music from iTunes, I'll stick with CDs and LPs. Sorry I can't help.
And yeah, limewire is horrible for your computer, it'll bog it down with all kinds of crap.

Do you have the latest iTunes update? Not that it should be an issue if you dont but that might fix it.

i had this problem with my i tunes too.

you need to flash the bios on your mother board as your board has lost its sound setting.

if you know about your computer you should know where the bios are. you move the upmper to the jacks next to the battery for 10 seconds and then replace the jumper and that will flash th bios.
if you dont know how to do this i would advise you to take it to a pc dealer and get them to do it.

hope this helps you

What about:
Never listen to music (just like me, my radio is almost rusty from doing nothing). It'll help, cause you won't get addicted to it :)
And you don't have to spend money on CD's so you have enough to buy the newest version of No Limits instantly when it's released.
Or you could do something like scuba-diving (REALLY COOL!!!)

Everything is updated. I deleted one of the CDs and re-bought it and it worked. However, I'm going to wait to see if it stops working like the others before I send my computer to the store.

EDIT: Just wondering, has anyone heard of Ruckus? The music player for college students? Me and my sister share an account. I was wondering if I can put stuff from there onto and MP3 player.

Does anyone have any advice?

1. uninstall iTunes.
2. get latest version of WMP.
3. don't buy songs online.
4. go to your local music store (not commerical, ie, wal-mart, circuit city, best buy, etc.)
5. buy the cd.

Flash the BIOS? You have no idea what you're talking about. You need to get the latest audio drivers for your computer. If you have a sound card go to the manufactures website or if you have an intergrated sound board (It's actually on the motherboard) Go the motherboards manufacturing site (Asus, etc.) and download the audio drivers.

You should never ever flash the BIOS to make a program work correctly.

You need to be logged into your itunes store account in order to authorise your computer, and you can only authorise 5 computers at a time (not including ipods). It may be that you are not logged in to your itunes store acocunt. Hope this is helpful.

^ If he bought the CDs on iTunes they should have authorized the computer then and there.

Download the cd on SoulSeek. Honestly. SoulSeek makes it really easy to DL a cd in its entirety rather than having to search each song indiviually.
